Absolutely! I alternate power walking 3.5 - 4.0 mph pace with step aerobics & weightlifting. I wear my HRM with chest strap any time I exercise. I was shocked when I found that I can get the same calorie burn (if not more) by power walking as I do when I step. I walk six miles for a total of 1.5 hrs. and I do step aerobics…
