  • Right there with ya. Which is probably why I've always been more interested in being muscular than skinny. I don't want/need a man to make me feel safe, I want that feeling whether I have a man around or not. And as for being "safer" with a taller/bigger man, I don't think that's necessarily true. My husband is 5'8", 185…
  • When I was in high school I had a crush on a guy who was several inches shorter than me (I'm 5'6"). He was cute, sweet and funny so his height didn't bother me. Height is very low on my list of things I find attractive.
  • Way to go, berry! 500 days in a row is pretty amazing.
  • I have both but I prefer my glasses. Less hassle and I like the way I look in them.

  • I just had one. 1 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop ON chocolate whey, 1 tbsp coffee creamer, 2 packets Stevia in the Raw, 3 tbsp All Whites and a splash of cold coffee (I always keep a pitcher of coffee in the fridge). Pretty tasty.
  • I tried the free Zombie, Run! app that has been out for a while but didn't care for it. Am also curious if this new $8 one is any good.
  • I was on Spark People first. Hated it. Too busy/confusing. MFP is awesome. It wasn't until I found MFP that I became really successful with my weight loss.
  • We tried lifting together. I swung a dumbbell at his face. On purpose. We haven't lifted together since. We'll spot each other, just not work out together. Running together is enjoyable though.
  • I have an 18 year old that is probably the laziest person I know and would much rather sit in front of the computer and eat junk than do anything else. It is something we argue about. Not because she's overweight (she's tiny with a high metabolism), but because it IS a health issue. I tried to do forced activity when she…
  • I love zucchini. Definitely gonna try this.
  • I'm not one of those "It will never happen to me" people. It definitely worries me and I'm only 60 lbs down with 40 still to go. I've been stuck at the same weight for 6 months. No matter what I've done, my weight isn't budging. I keep at it though. A friend of mine said, "I don't know how you keep doing it, I'd have given…
  • I notice scars, but not in a "ewww" kind of way. I always wonder how they got it. In March, I had a cyst removed from my chest. Nice red scar right smack in the middle. I figure now I just have to wear really low cut shirts so people notice the boobs instead.
  • That. When my husband is on leave for a week or two, he doesn't shave. It's awesome.
  • Love the comics and the show is good too. Check this out. http://www.thewalkingdeadescape.com/index.html I wanna do it soooo bad, but the hubs and kid would want to do it too and I'm not sure I can justify spending that much money on top of what we'll spend at Comic Con. :ohwell:
  • I went from drinking 3-4 a day to 1 every week or two. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I lost 10 lbs JUST by doing that. No change in my eating habits or working out. I didn't actually do it to lose weight, I was hoping less caffeine would get rid of the anxiety issues I was having (didn't help though). The weight loss was…
  • Awww! You're a lucky mom! I'd probably make a scarf. This would be cute too... http://www.ravelry.com/projects/JFire/something-lacy-shrug.
  • Yup. If someone in this house says, "Yes, dear", it generally means "stfu already".

  • I have the shocker soundtrack on my ipod. That was a great bad movie. Love Equilibrium too (have it on dvd). Don't think i would have classified it as bad though.
  • Waterworld (will watch it EVERY time it's on tv and own the dvd) Joe Dirt Thankskilling
  • The one that always looks pissed off. Which kinda sucks because I'm actually very friendly.
  • This one was taken in 2005, when I was at my heaviest. 245 lbs. This is about 2 years ago at 224ish. I think I'm about 185 in this one. I'm at 175 now, but there's not much of a difference.
  • Yeah, but that makes me sad the next day when I'm grouchy and pissy because I didn't get enough sleep. lol Since I saw knitting/crochet mentioned, I will add Malabrigo.
  • Gotta agree with bacon, willow trees (especially on a breezy day) and a clean house.
  • My cat yarked on my treadmill. Not quite as bad as dog poo in your shoes, but still. lol The song "It's Nice to be Alive' by Ball Park Music The way snow glitters in moonlight. My hammock. Books. Earlier when we were in the car, I was flipping stations on Sirius/XM and my 18 year old said, "Hey! Alice Cooper! Go back!"
  • Bleh. If you've read/seen one Nicholas Sparks book/movie, you've read/seen them all. I let a group of friends drag me to 'Nights in Rodanthe' against my better judgement. At the end, they were all crying and I was pissed off, wanting to punch every one of them in the neck. I was like, "I KNEW someone was going to die!…
  • That. My best friend, a hs friend and my cousin all became grandmas last year and they are all my age.
  • My problem isn't tons of cute new clothes, it's that now I pack as much workout gear as regular clothes. lol My fave NSV's... 1. Taken off blood pressure meds after 10 years on them (that was why I started this in the first place). 2. Finishing a half marathon when I could never in my life even run more than 1/4 mile at a…
