Add Skinny Girl margaritas to the list. I forgot about those. My sister and I got a bottle for a girl's night. We each had a glass and threw the rest away.

Kashi Heart to Heart honey toasted oat cereal smelled like the bottom of a hamster cage. I tried eating it anyway. Bad idea. Body Fortress vanilla protein powder was pretty crappy too.

This. Except for the part about "enjoying" running. Because I don't. At all. Seriously. But I do it because it helped get my blood pressure down to normal and it helps keep it there.

I used to never eat breakfast. I never felt like eating in the morning. I'd skip breakfast, eat lunch (sometimes skip that too) and then eat dinner and snack all evening. I only recently realized that the reason I never felt like having breakfast was because I was eating too much food, way too late. Since I started trying…

I'm an optimist. I keep thinking, "Maybe it'll get better." But sometimes I get to the end and it never got better.

I kept hearing about how great that book was and how overweight women would be able to relate to Dolores. But I didn't. In fact, I couldn't stand her. All these awful things happen to her and I knew I should feel sorry for her but I didn't because I thought she was weak, pathetic and whiny. I couldn't feel an ounce of…

Great job! I love that you're not so focused on the scale. I still struggle with it even though I do know it's not the be-all-end-all of fitness. Here's my "the scale is a jerk" picture. I'll just post the link. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LQ2w1WuNe4k/UMDbOrRzQ_I/AAAAAAAABKo/2xg3qpVe8AY/s433/progress1.jpg

Go you! Keep on keepin' on and before you know it, you'll run that whole thing.

Since I used different ingredients (didn't have bread crumbs so had to crush up crackers) I put mine into the recipe calculator http://www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe/calculator and mine came out to 25 cals per tot.

Thanks! The pic I posted was at my heaviest of 245. The profile pic is at 174. I've still got a way to go but I'm pretty damn pleased with how far I've come.

Still took quite a few years after this to do anything about it though.

I did a Doctor Who scarf for my husband. He was beyond thrilled when he opened it on xmas day. He said, "Where did you find this?!" I was like, "Ya know, babe, I am a knitter." As for socks, I got the book Sensational Knitted Socks, which everyone said was great for beginners. I couldn't figure it out. I…

My first day, I only made it through about half of it before I had to stop completely because I almost threw up. I was so sore for the next few days, I had to hold onto the sink to get on and off the toilet. I was reallllly out of shape. I did keep at it, even though I was that sore. The next day I made it through…

Not me, but I'm not envious of skinny women either. <No aspirations to be skinny.

I read this whole stupid thread and now I want rice and beans. Thanks a lot.

Handy! Today my husband and I were at the grocery store and he asked when peaches are in season. I said summer. Apparently I'm a lying liar.

When I was a kid, I had a friend who knit and it looked like fun. I really wanted to learn. When I finally did, I realized I was right and it is fun. I enjoy the process more than anything. The fact that I have something useful at the end is a bonus.

Congrats! I know what a great feeling that is because getting off the blood pressure medication was my main reason for starting this.

Something happened last week that made me question whether or not I wanted to keep doing this. So I decided to take a break. Even though I wasn't logging, I still kept working out and attempting to eat right. Apparently I do want to keep doing this so I started logging again today.

I decided to try finishing Storm of Swords. Also reading The Infernals by John Connolly and The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting.

I was gonna tell you my friend was wearing those exact pants during our run tonight and she loves them but I figured that wasn't helpful. lol Maybe you could try going down a size? I'm 5'6", 174 lbs and wear a medium, which I thought was too small for me but they fit great. A lot of people say they're true to size but ON…

http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=53935&vid=1&pid=810761002 Those are the old navy ones I wear and they're pretty high in the waist (several people even mention it in the reviews) so they definitely stay up.

When I started c25k, I was doing it in cotton workout capris from Target. Which my fat thighs shredded in about 2-3 months. When I started training for the half, I decided to splurge on an expensive pair of workout pants. Figured those had to last longer. Bought a pair of Brooks running capris. Those lasted even LESS time…

Same here. I'm currently wearing a shirt that has a bookshelf on it and says, "Books - No electricity required".

Yes! SabrinaJL there too.

Because her phrasing can be awkward, these guys are centuries old vampires but they use hip-hop slang, listen to rap and drive Escalades and she drops brand names like she's paid to do so. But the stories are entertaining so I put up with it.

That was a good series. The first book hooked me so much, I started it at 11 pm (terrible habit) and finished it at 2:30 am. I've read all the BDB series but it makes me roll my eyes. A lot.
-
That was such a good series until the last 2 books. I can't believe we never found out what happened to Durc. So annoying.

Calla lilies and carnations. Roses are pretty but I can't stand the smell of them.
