Agreed. I used to drink 4-6 cans of Dr. Pepper a day. I thought I'd never be able to give it up but when I started having anxiety issues, I thought maybe giving up caffeine would help. This was before I started trying to lose weight and I lost 10 lbs JUST by giving up the soda. I still have it every now and then (probably…

lol I do. People were getting awful pissed off about it for some reason.
-
That's awesome and generous! I'm working on a pair of fingerless gloves for my daughter right now.

The sexy thread wouldn't bother me either. What WOULD bother me is if something my husband was doing was hurting my feelings/upsetting me and he continued to do it after I told him so. THAT I would find disrespectful.
-
That. Probably would have bothered me when we were first together and I was young and insecure, but not now.

Oh you really should join. www.ravelry.com It is the BEST site for knitters/crocheters. You can search for patterns. You can narrow your search down by item, knit/crochet, yarn weight, how much yarn, etc.... It's awesome! My favorite thing to do is search for a yarn and see all the things people have made using that yarn.

I thought about trying it but I was kinda skeptical. That really does look good though.

Awww, it's cool. I was kidding (mostly). I'm just having a hard time adjusting to 1200 cals (which I'm only doing after being stuck at the same weight for almost 11 months AND discussing it with my doctor). On Saturday my family wanted fast food after we did the Color Run. While they ate bacon cheeseburgers, fries and…

You all can go right to hell! Even the ones who posted the delicious looking healthy food. Damn 1200 cals. :grumble:

I've never knit a sweater, but if I was gonna put all that work into it (and it was for me), I'd probably use Malabrigo. lol
-
Have you tried searching Ravelry?

Hi dillydally! Welcome to the group!

Just saw this! We're practically neighbors! Two Sisters and Ewe is where I go. :)

Similar thing here. I was around my heaviest (245 lbs) when I got the Mirena inserted. That was in 2005. I never got any heavier. I got my 2nd Mirena in 2010 and started trying to lose weight in March of 2011. I'm currently at 175, which is the lowest my weight has been since I was 18 (I'm 35 now). I don't think it made…

I've never knit a dog sweater but a quick Ravelry search turns up quite a few patterns. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#craft=knitting&view=captioned_thumbs&query=dog%20sweater&availability=free&sort=difficulty

That exactly. I currently have 6 granny smith's waiting to be made into caramel apples for halloween. I also have 3 lbs of Gala apples, but that's not for eating, that's for making apple butter.

A hurting wrist means I'm not working on anything and it's making me sad. I think I may have carpal tunnel. :(

Eggs Cheese Chicken breasts Peppers Onions Romaine lettuce Bananas Strawberries Blueberries Almond Milk

I like granny squares (especially multi-colored ones). I saw this really awesome celtic knot square thing on Pinterest. Looked intimidating though. lol
-
Oh, I only knit for people that I KNOW are knit-worthy and will appreciate it.

That. My sister was in a terrible relationship. For 15 years. She finally got the nerve to divorce him at age 33. At 37, she found and married an awesome guy that adores her and treats her like a queen. Also, you're 24. Have some damn fun for cripes sake. You don't NEED to be in a relationship. Enjoy life and take your…

Same here. My butt was wide and flat. It got a lot less wide after losing weight, but definitely more 'oomphy' after I started doing squats, deadlifts and lunges with heavier weights. And my husband said he doesn't care if I end up with no boobs or butt as long as I'm healthy.

I said it WOULD be if it weren't for the ending. Which made me cry. And turn it off and try for a different ending. When I didn't get a different ending, I wanted to throw the xbox out in the street and watch cars run it over.
-
First one was at my heaviest of 245. Second one was around 185ish, I think.

This made me giggle like an idiot for a good 3 minutes. My daughter and I played the crap out of OoT together. My husband and I played the crap out of FF7 together. Both games have a special place in my heart. My all time fave game has to be Skyrim though. I'd say Red Dead Redemption but the ending made me . Seriously.

Pretty much that. Even if I wanted to bother with it, I'm pretty much clueless. I have no idea how to pick colors or apply it properly. For most of my life, the rare times I do wear makeup, it's usually just lipstick/gloss and eyeliner. Mascara and blush if I'm gettin' real fancy. lol I actually would like to know how to…

Born and raised in CA. I'll probably still be saying it when i'm 80.

Considering my obnoxious shirt, I'm surprised you didn't say natty ice or budweiser. lol But no, not a beer drinker. For TropicalFlowerz, I'd guess Pina Coladas.

Fortunately, the law isn't on your side. Looks like you'll just have to deal with all those lazy women feeding their babies in public.

lol I bet she would have done that if she thought about it. It's something she's very passionate about for some reason. She wanted to start donating at 14 but she was too young. Then when she was old enough, she was too small. She was really excited when she was finally old enough AND big enough to go to her school's blood…
