As bad as American tabloids can be, I'm shocked at how nasty British tabloids are. The stuff is way more offensive and over the top than its American counterparts IMO. This editorial is really offensive. Every person should be able to be happy in public without others judging him/her for appearance.

Yeah... six times a year of having dessert should not be setting you back. If your family really enjoys this tradition, I say it is worth it. I'm guessing you guys treat it like an all you can eat cake and ice cream which could set you on a path to binge on other things for many days.
-
Hmm... that's odd. You're probably allergic or sensitive to something in it. Since Shakeology has A LOT of ingrediants, it will be very hard to narrow it down. It's interesting you like the taste a lot.

Seems like I'm the only one with the entry-level (aka budget) Fitbit Zip.

Yes, I have a psychotherapist and am also on prescription anti-depressants. Why is this the first thing that most people suggest? If therapy is the best treatment we have for depression in 2014, that's unfortunate.

Binged again tonight. I hate myself.

Can someone compile a list of books on the subject that also come in audio book form?

You guys must be eating really small portions of this stuff to have it fit in your calorie limit. I love premium ice cream but even a very small half cup serving has a lot of calories.

I'm in the Pacific NW and the cherries here are delicious. I absolutely love the summer fruit season but unfortunately these fruits are high-ish in cal and carbs. I wish I could eat the whole 1lb bag in one sitting!

I have this problem too but I'm pretty sure it's because I was eating a lot of artificial sweetener (sucralose to be exact). I bought the pure form of this no-calorie sweetener and it is REALLY potent. I think I have the lingering sweetness on my tongue because of trace left overs on my taste buds.

I'll take a look at Walmart the next time I'm there. I tried looking at Kroger-owned grocery stores and didn't see any Walden Farms products.
-
That's just a thick smoothie.
-
What grocery stores stock Walden Farms stuff in the US? I've looked around some supermarkets in the Pacific NW and can't find any of Walden Farm products.
-
No and the science shows that blood sugar (and thus carbs) affects how you lose and gain fat.
-
Yeah, I see that a lot too so it kind of annoys me that random people just pop in here and say "lift heavy. bye"

She wants low carb and protein bars are a poor choice for that. Even the ones regarded as the lowest carb and highest quality (Quest bars) have about 25-27g of carbs per bar! I do love them myself but dislike that the carb content is so high.

I'm Asian and agar agar is used as a gelling agent for dessert items. It has little taste on its own and produces a jello-like texture when cooked. I don't think it is an appetite suppressant nor is it considered one in Asian cuisine. It's derived from a kind of sea algae and isn't anything special. I enjoy desserts made…

I will try this recipe sometime. The oats make it higher carb than I'd like but whatever.

Scary.

You guys keep saying ephedrine is "easy to get" in the US yet won't say how. I do NOT see it sitting on the shelves in Rite Aid.

My local Costcos sell this and I bought some but experienced absolutely nothing. I was hoping for a subtle reduction in appetite similar to a big caffeine dose but no. I actually was able to return it two days ago. I'm glad I got my money back. Most people are not so fortunate. Too bad Costco had to take a loss with my…

Yeah, I deal with this too. I have to find a way to reframe my mind around those types of situations. I can only white knuckle it for so long.

I admire how brave you are to share this openly with us. I feel such pain when I read your post.

I think Pact needs to be more strict about what can count as fruit or vegetables. I see people try to pass off juice as fruit, fries as veg, etc. I only upvote on fruit/veg that are whole and minimally processed (like canned or frozen).
-
You don't earn very much money in Pact at all. Even if you have exercise, food logging and fruit/veg picture every single day of the week, you only make an average of like $3.50 a week. Sometimes it's slightly more and usually less. I don't like how the minimum charge for missing an activity or logging is $5 when you can't…

Fage is the only actual Greek brand out of the ones you named and is usually the highest quality Greek yogurt most American grocery stores carry. It tastes like Greek yogurt in Greece which is to say, it's thick and very tart. The American brands tend to be sweeter and are available in various non-fat/sugar-free versions.…

How does one get ephedrine in the USA?

Going straight into keto can be quite difficult for most people. The side effects you are experiencing right now don't seem worth it to me. You should slightly lower your carbs over time to see how your body tolerates. I would also cut back on the sodium right now. You're messing up your body's balance too quickly by…

I'd substitute the brown sugar for a low/no-calorie alternative personally.
