It is being proven that HIIT is better for weight loss than long periods of cardio at the same intensity. So I would say what you are doing is fine. I had a app on my phone which helped me with me hiit on the treadmill called running for weightloss interval training.

I'm in. Name: Rosie Height: 5'6 Starting Weight (12/1): 75.3kg - 166lbs Goal Weight (12/31): 72 kg - 158lbs 8/12: 15/12: 22/12: 29/12: 31/12: I have just taken part in a 6 week challenge in town and nearly lost 5kg, I am hoping to continue the trend of losing weight rather than gaining which is the road I was on before the…

Awesome writeup thankyou. I am starting my own voyage with running this week after 4-5years of avoiding running as much as possible. I do find running on a treadmill easier than running on grass or foot path so have just purchased a treadmill. I am hoping to not have knee issues and plan to take it easy to start with.…

Thanks everyone, I am trying to include more cardio (walking) into my everyday, I also road ride. For both of these I am currently using endomondo but find the calories burnt differ when it syncs with MFP. And of course it sucks the juice from my phone, this weekend I rode 40km but my phone died at 29km. So have decided I…

I myself like the idea of clean eating, and try to as much as possible. There are the odd things I will have but I stay well away from the really processed stuff like biscuits, museli bars, processed meats etc. I believe our bodies were not designed for all the processed foods we eat today.

My doctor just told me I was obese, then backed tracked and said well your not obese but you are overweight. :(

I know this is probably the wrong page to be asking this as you are all fitbit users. Is fitbit as good as it looks? I want to get the fitbit flex but they are not cheap here and I dont want to spend the $$ if it isn't as good as they say it is. Can the calorie setting be changed to Kj?

Green tea can have less caffeine than normal tea or coffee and you can get decaffeinated. I've been drinking green tea for over 8 years now, I always have green tea before anything else in the morning, and I usually have a cup at night time as well as through out the day. It is full of antioxidants and is known for its…

Hi ShadyC, I have my Kj set to 5314. I do go over this on some days, though if you average the week out I'm roughly on target. I have noticed change in the lower half of me, even though I have not shifted on the scales.

I have to vouch for the Bulla frozen yoghurt as well. They are a nice treat at the end of the day. I had some WW jelly in the cupboard, looks like I am going to have to go hunting. :)

I don't know to much about the watches, I use my phone to track my riding and walking through endomondo but unfortunatly that can't take my heart rate etc. I hear the FitBit flex is good. Its not as bulky as the watches are, you wear day and night and it tracks all your activity and sleep patterns. I've attached the…
