Its commendable that you are trying so hard to help your workmate, however it sounds like she is not yet ready. I have also told a lot of my friends about MFP and they do not really believe that one can lose significant weight through tracking calories and they are also not patient enough to wait for significant results…

Thank you, I guess my problem is that I've always felt that walking was a waste of time on the treadmill because of the fewer calories you burn when you walk. I will restart Treadmill today and try the intervals and build it from there.
