88? now I feel like a failure ...
-
Yes, it's the climate. The heat makes you expand.

It is amusing to do a search though of your username and finding the posts you've had flagged for abuse. None of them even remotely resemble abuse. Poor precious little flowers.

Lol, I just got another Abuse point. I wonder what for. That's what kills me you know, not knowing what it was I said that was so offensive. I'm pretty sure I haven't said anything mean to anyone all day.

1200 is the minimum you should have after taking into account your exercise calories. Your net calories are way too low, and you'll have to fight for every lb. It also depends on how much you have to lose. Did you take the MFP profile? How many calories did it say for you to eat. You don't have to starve yourself to lose…

I've worked a desk job for 10 years at least. I've lost nearly 60lbs in the last 6 months, and I DON'T go for walks during the day. In fact I work 8 hours without a break so I can go home early. I mow the lawn and ride my horse on the weekend. I don't go to the gym, or do much else. Losing (or maintaining) is all about…

This could have been written by me, 12 months ago. I'd be fine all day, and then bam. Food completely controlled my life. I would eat 2 McDonalds burgers on the way home from work and then cook dinner and eat with the family. I've sat and ate half a caramel mud cake on my own. I have bought 2 pies and a cake from the…

My ex "I love you in spite of your weight" and after he gained a few pounds "if I keep going like this I'll weigh as much as you by next year". My friends mum, said to a room full of people about her daughter "oh yeah, Debbie used to be a beast, she was 107kg". Same lady on the weekend commented to a group of people on how…

Oven was on about 180 C I just put a slice of bacon in each muffin pan, crack an egg into it, and sprinkle cheese on top. Takes no time at all. You could add mushroom or zuchinni or anything really depending on your taste, but I keep it real simple. You can do the omlette thing too, I have.

You are not allowed to comment, sorry. Those here who believe a calorie is a calorie and you can use up your 1500 cal alottment on whatever you like (pizza, McDonalds, icecream) will come around to your house and force feed you cookies until you die. If you don't believe me, just start a forum titled "clean eating" or…

"the majority of people who haven't tried it" ... Sorry, I should have said "I'm not seeing a HEALTH RELATED downside". I know some people cling onto their cookies and icecream for dear life, and it's their right to do so. But I bet those people (you know who you are) who have been "on a diet" for most of their life, but…

Last night I put 12 slices of bacon (250g), and 12 eggs, with 120g of grated cheese in a 12 muffin pan and cooked in the oven for 20 minutes. Protein lunches for the next few days, easy. 150cals each.

It's funny how you can grab part information from the internet and use it to "prove" your particular point. Here's what I KNOW about ketosis. * After trying to lose weight for 20 years it's the ONLY thing that's worked. No binges, no falling off the wagon, no craving rubbish food, eating foods I can happily eat for the…

I'd love to be able to wear this : Or this:

Make that 5 spam and 6 abuse. Thank you Fans :)
-
Oh, lol, I haven't been around long enough to work out who the Trolls are :)
-
I have FIVE abuse points and one spam point. /proud. You know you're doing something right when you provoke emotion in others. :)

It doesn't taste like cream cheese if that helps. Especially if you add the garlic and italian herbs to the base.

You click that little bell then choose "All Notifications" and you can see it. I would like to see who reported me for what post. It's really not fair that I've offended someone and I don't know who or why, takes the fun out of it.

I think the use of the term "starvation mode" is a little inacurate, but the meaning behind it when people write it is not. What they usually mean, in my experience, is that if you lose weight at too large a calorie deficit your body makes adjustments to your metabolism etc to use less energy, which can in turn both slow…

Well, seems to me if it's not going to be monitored, the function shouldn't be there at all. Nor should it incur "points". If you abuse someone, and it's reported to Admin, and they decide you did in fact abuse someone (by reading the post), then they can take appropriate action. Likewise with spam. If you post ads for…

Lol ... ok. EVERYONE requires a decent amount of protein. Not just some people. And in fact no one REQUIRES more carbs. Or any really (no... not even for your brain function, your body makes the glucose you need for that). You eat them because you want to, and that's fine.

I'm 40. Two of my kids have moved out, and I have a 12 month old grand-child. I've lost 55lbs this year eating low carb and only doing incidental exercise like lawn mowing and horse riding. There are a whole bucketload of people on here who will tell you it's as simple as "eat less, do more". I will tell you I spent 20…

I have a HTC One M8 mobile with a Fitbit built in that syncs with my MFP app. One gadget, perfect.

I disagree. Diet or "Lite" versions of things are terrible, and not good for you. They generally have less fat and more sugar (or fake sugar which is probably worse). The fat from the Mayo is actually really good for you and will help you stay satiated. If you can fit it in your calories, absolutely have the whole version…

Thanks for your input/comment. You don't record your food at all but your target is nearly 300g carbs a day so why would you comment on a Keto recipe?
-
I reckon you should uneat the food. Seriously, you can't go back, only forward. Recognise what this behaviour will lead to, and move on making better choices.
-
Yep, because people think "on a diet" not "I'm going to change the way I eat, which was the cause of getting fat in the first place, forever". People who are not overweight don't scarfe down 3000 cals a day + and stay trim. They eat less and do more. People who do scarfe down 3000 cals a day + and do very little - and…
-
Ahhh that's a good idea, thanks :)

I've calculted it using a "proper calculator" more than once. Also, MFP and Calorie King and other websites have given me the same (within about 50 cals) so I don't think it's low.
