I guess it depends on your goals at the moment. If you're looking at losing weight, you need a calorie deficit but if you're looking at counting your macros to increase lean muscle and decrease fat, carbs are carbs regardless of their origin. Best of luck :flowerforyou:

Franc - In what way are they inaccurate? Brad - wouldn't using callipers be inaccurate also as my skin would bunch up instead of the fat? I'm wondering about getting a DEXTA body scan done which will visually highlight my fat and measure my BF also.

Sounds like a great plan but wouldn't it just be easier to log your food so you know how many calories your consuming? How do you plan to 'roughly eat 1500' if you're not logging? Best of luck

Thanks guys.. guess I feel like I'm starting over again. I broke it off with him the moment I found out so he is out of the picture now. Luckily my laptop wasn't plugged in or I probably would have gone crazy haha Going to take some time to adjust!
