The Biggest Loser gets great ratings, so I think it is perfectly normal to want to see other's struggles and successes. Even if you don't know them.

Yeah- that was another thing, my wedding ring fit a lot better as did a pair of boots. Now if only my ample thighs would shrink down to match my skinny fingers and slimming ankles...

Are you measuring everything? Sometimes the weight comes off in unexpected places, so if you are just measuring your waist, hips and chest, it might not be capturing everything. I gain and lose weight in my face, neck, calves and thighs as well. It is frustrating- I lost almost 30 lbs, and only went down one pants size.…

I'm gluten and dairy free, too. Feel free to add me!

You are beautiful! Congratulations on your weight loss.

Yeah, I don't know about the body fat% scales. I have one and I use it every morning. My body fat ranges from 23%-39% day over day. Hydration and moisturized skin seem to play a huge factor in the % that is displayed.

If it's not too late, I'd like to join. 1) 8 weeks 2) Any day, as long as it's consistent 3) I think mini challenges would keep us motivated. In 8 weeks, I'd like to lose 8 lbs. I'm not being too aggressive, because I've been stuck at a plateau for awhile, and just really want to break it. I've been bouncing between…

Better results if I eat them back than if I don't.

I actually love weight training, but every time I have done it I HAVE either stopped losing weight or gained weight. For example, six years ago, I lost 20 lbs in two months, on my own, just by watching what I was eating and doing moderate exercise (cardio). Then I got a personal trainer, and while I did get some pretty…

I know when I was 11-13, I was extremely sensitive of my weight. I went from really skinny, to skinny with hips, to hourglass over the course of two years. Does she actually want to change her weight, or is she comfortable? If she's comfortable, and the doctor says she's fine you may want to just let her be. I know most of…

I didn't know people wore shoes in the house until the first time I stayed the night at a friends house. I kept thinking "wow this family must be really embarrassed of their feet..."
-
I don't even look, because I know I'll be jealous and want their cart of food instead. :-)

You are gorgeous! You should be so proud.

Two sports bras (one with cups, and one that flattens on top). Although now that I have lost 25 lbs, the boobs are going bye-bye.
-
You can add me. I'm 27 lbs down, of the 65 I need to lose.

That is incredibly sad. One of my grandmothers is from Japan, and moved to California with my grandfather after WWII. I haven't met most of her family (can't afford to go to Japan), but they have always been very good to my mom and her brothers and sisters... but I know that isn't always typical. I love being of mixed…

1/4 Japanese 1/4 Filipino 1/8 Irish 1/8 English 1/8 Italian 1/8 Russian So...every food on the planet? That's my problem, I think. Plus I live in Arizona where Mexican food is available on every corner.

The hardest thing for me is jumping rope. My hammies are sore/tight.
-
I'm not sure. I'm using two 5-lb weights because that is what I have sitting around my house.
-
Thanks, everyone! I will probably do cardio on top of this whenever I can. I mean, it can't hurt, right?
-
Delicious. I have a dairy allergy, so I use almond milk in breakfast shakes/smoothies.

I'd like to join this group. I'm 31, almost 32, been with my husband for 12 years, and married for 5 of those years. No kids yet, but have a dog that I treat like a child (she has her own bedroom and gets homecooked meals almost every night).

I've been sick all week, but have been working out...so...GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND IGNORE THESE SYMPATHIZERS!!! Hey- you asked for it. :-) Seriously, though, here is a good guide: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/exercise/AN01097

Any good gluten free or dairy free recipes? If so, send them my way.

Yeah, I watched it for the first time today, and heard her say that too. I was confused. I think she meant to say "just take the elevator." Taking the stairs is hard.

Get on the scale. Now. That way you really know the damage instead of just guessing. It will probably be less then you think, but enough to scare you back into your routine. Think about all the work you've done to get where you are, and don't let 2 weeks ruin all your progress before. Everyone has set backs. Then, if there…

Well...since I am sucking in my gut the entire time, I suppose it counts as ab work...

Cute! I've lost a two year old, and am hoping to misplace some cheese in the near future.

You carry your weight well. Even in the before picture, I wouldn't have thought you were over 200 lbs. Great progress!

What a great idea! I would like a mentor.
