Yep there is no start date for this challenge. Just start it whenever and add your miles to the day of the month you walked. Add your MFp name to the Arizona tab and start Logging. I'll swap around the spreadsheet for November starting tomorrow. Don't worry-you wont lose your October progress (itll be at the start of the…

If my child came home with her letter I would be having some words with her. She stated she didn't want to be the mean lady in the neighborhood and would not deny any child candy, but then your going to give the kid a letter saying your child is fat and your a bad parent because of it.....yea that a one way ticket to the…

Please see a registered Dietitian for diet advice, not a general doctor. If the doctor is ok with the ketosis diet then see a registered dietitian to help you with it. Especially being either pre-diabetic or a type 2 diabetic (insulin resistant) You still have to have Carbs to prevent low blood sugars. PLEASE check with…

Sorry about that. I added Nevada now.

Definitely talk with your doctor before starting this type of diet. It puts a lot of strain on your kidney's and can cause damage if you run a high level of ketones, or for a long period of time. Ketosis will also burn your lean muscle mass as ketones are produced from the body burning fat & protein for fuel instead of…

Awesome job! You have walked across Oregon!!!! What state are you moving on to now?
-
I moved your miles to yesterday. The days are set up as the day of the month-sorry if that was confusing. I'll be re-vamping the spreadsheet for November soon.
-
No worries, Add your name to the New York tab on the spreadsheet link above and start logging miles!
-
Yep, once you finish your state, you can pick another one and keep going. Each state starts over from 1, but the coast to coast count you can use all your state totals. Have you added in your miles on the spreadsheet? This way you can keep track online.

Spaghetti & ranch. the ranch dressing mixes with the spaghetti sauce really well and makes a delicious creamy sauce.

I walked about 5 miles today, with some of that being in lazer tag, so I got a nice work out there! 30.1 miles down so far, 29.9 left!

ok I think I fixed it now, I had it set to only be able to view, now you should be able to add to it as well https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aol9MTz-ME3ddG0xOGNKWTlCd3hucFBBNEpyckJHbFE&usp=sharing

I would get checked by your doctor too. yes you have less insulation, but cold intolerance can also be a sign of thyroid issues. I would get that checked just to be safe.
-
2.6 miles today--Total of 21.1 miles since the 14th.
-
Walked 2.6 miles yesterday!
-
Very nicely put!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aol9MTz-ME3ddG0xOGNKWTlCd3hucFBBNEpyckJHbFE&usp=sharing Try that link instead. You have to be signed in to add to the sheet too. Let me know if that works better for you. I added the 12 miles from yesterday to yours.

Ok folks, so Im part of another group that is using a spreadsheet for everyone to log weights in and track weight loss. I took a page from their book and created on for us. Right now it only has the states that people have listed and I have entered in all the mileage so far that has been listed on this topic too. Feel free…

You can always try a homemade smoothie for breakfast too. You can mix it up the night before, toss it in the freezer then grab and go in the morning. Then you are getting some extra veggies & fruit in your day, along with your greek yogurt.

Hello, I'm Kimberly, 29 and a Registered Dietitian & Type 1 Diabetic to boot! My goal is to lose about 30# and get my toned body back. I used to be a cheerleader in High School, and a belly dancer in college so I maintained my fit body. Now I have a desk job that involves a lot of sitting, little exercise, and sometimes a…

There is research and peer-reviewed studies on Milk thistle see my other post. If you are going to see anyone about supplements a doctor is the last person I would see. Most have no idea what supplements are recommended for what or what levels would be considered toxic for what ones. If you are going to consult with anyone…

Its the notion that we can change the man or fix him. Most women like the "wounded Puppy" as my mom always referred to them. The guy who has multiple issues going on and needs that extra support or whatever. The ex I mentioned before I was with off and on for 4 years. He was in and out of jail for probation violations from…

If you are constantly thinking about this, and its eating you up then you already know the answer. It sounds like you are having doubts about him, and I would agree. As others have said many red flags there. Not wanting to compromise with you at all, you seem to be doing the compromising. Coming up with a lame answer to…

1) again like everyone said however often you want, however try for the same time every day. Why not get a scale for while your in school? that way you can weigh in your dorm room or apartment without it having to be at the gym randomly. 2) use both. Sometimes the scale number wont change but you may have lost some inches.…

Yes you will need to learn to count carbs, but meet with a dietitian or diabetes educator to learn that. You can get a lot of help that way and get set up with a good meal plan to stick with when you first start. Pumps only use short acting insulin but deliver it 24 hours a day. You vary the amounts throughout the day…
