The 1200 calories a week you've been given is what you need to eat to lose 1 lb. a week NOT counting exercise. I know, I know...when you set up your goals, it asks you how often and for how long you plan to exercise a week, but it doesn't actually figure that into you calorie deficit. Your general activity level is what is…

I don't think so. I usually pop in an exercise DVD or hot on my treadmill after the kids go to bed around 9 pm. It's better than sitting around watching tv and snacking. Some people might say it makes it difficult to sleep if you exercise close to your own bedtime, but I find I fall asleep and sleep fine.

It's hard to avoid the uniboob if you want really good support. My all time favourite for high impact exercise is the Moving Comfort Juno. It's a bit tricky to get into, but, by God, once you're in there, nothing moves! I also like Shock Absorber for moderate impact. I've heard good things about Enell, but haven't tried it…

It only bothers me when people spell it "HUN". As in "ATTILA THE".

Five Guys. Greasiest, sloppiest, most delicious burger. EVER.

Scale won't move? Follow these 4 easy step: 1. Open window. 2. Bend down. 3. Grab scale with both hands. 4. Throw scale out open window.

I suffer from the same affliction! What sometimes works is, I make a promise to stay on track for one more week and then allow a treat. Of course, this was back when I was actually dedicated to losing weight and looking after myself!

I like Hal Higdon's plans. If you follow the Half Marathon plan, you'll be plenty prepared. Good luck.

The "circuit training -general" was usually about right when compared to my HRM. Ha ha! I remember the pain I was in!

My 4 year old requested a remote controlled Monster Truck for Christmas. She's going to be one excited little girl on Christmas morning!! My husband doesn't have an issue with it. My son also plays with his sisters Barbies and Monster High dolls...we're not worried about him either!

Not off hand, but canned, diced Italian tomatoes generally have less sodium than straight pasta sauce.

Mom of 4...youngest is 2. I lost 30 odd pounds in the year after my son was born. Advice: don't wait until 6 weeks post partum to start a healthy lifestyle - start today! Don't let pregnancy be an excuse to eat crap and be a total sloth. Just saying! Good luck to you!

You won't regret anything if you're marrying someone that makes you happy and someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with. It's not the day that matters, it's what happens the rest of your life. Unfortunately, it will be other people that have an issue with what you decide. Their problem really. It's your…

There are always going to be food pushers in our lives and we're always going to be in situations where food is the centerpiece. However, nobody is stuffing food down your throat except for yourself! Maybe I'll remember that over the holidays myself!!

Maybe Google what synchronized swimmers use for makeup.

I love baking too. I try to give it away to friends so I don't have to eat it all!

Flannel p.j.s, comfy bed, and a good book. Oh wait, that's three. :blushing:

MFP does not take into consideration your heart rate. An HRM obviously does. I trust my Sportline and it measures the same as my Garmin as far as calories burned. Out of curiosity, what is your max HR when exercising? You'll burn way more calories at 200 bpm than at 170 bpm.

Do you need another bridesmaid???

Diet A&W Root Beer and Caffeine-Free Diet Pepsi is a close second.

Is the bloating all the time? I'm not always bloated, but I do get quite bloated just before my period and again when I ovulate. It lasts for 3-4 days each time and weigh-ins around these times are frightening. Do you track sodium? Try to keep it below 2000 mg a day. If all else fails, go see a doctor about it.

 Made the original recipe and it was so disgusting. Just giving my honest opinion. I'd rather sacrifice some calories and have a good old fashioned Duncan Hines chocolate cake or brownies!

Ah, a stroll down memory lane. I'll respond in honor of my 9th wedding anniversay that we celebrated a few weeks ago. 1, How long did you plan? around 8 months 2. How much did you spend? (sorry if that's personal) Was this more/less than you planned? I'm not sure since I was lucky to have my parents pay for most of it.…

I must try this!

Make a plan. Sit yourself down with a blank calendar and your list. First ask yourself (or your husband) what you WANT to eat this week. Then fill in your calendar keeping in mind any days you'll be out, or will have leftovers. I use a couple of basic cookbooks like Betty Crocker's Cookbook, and The Best of Bridge…

Here are some tips: 1) Eat as close to your goal as possible (a little over is OK too) 2) Track sodium and stay under recommended amount 3) Reset your goals to lose 1/2 to 1 lb less than you currently are. So if you're set to lose 2 lbs a week, then make it 1 or 1 1/2 lb loss. Remember, you'll still be in a deficit, but…

What's the rush? Seriously. I would start with finishing without walking. That, in itself, is quite an accomplishment. Then, once you're comfortable running 5K without stopping, you can start working on speed. Interval training is great for that (sprinting/walk or run intervals). If you jump into the interval training too…

People type 'bump'. b-u-m-p. The letters. You could type 'lipsitck' or 'fart' and it would have the same effect. Moves the topic back to the top of the list or allow the 'bumper' to have it in their list of topics to refer back to later without having to do a search.

Your calorie goal seems a little low. With just 15 pounds to lose your setting should be at 1/2 lb loss a week which gives you more calories to consume. You body starts to fight you on the 'home stretch' so to speak, so you need to change your strategy. You are also working out more and starting weight training so you…
