Have a look at my diary. I just had a whole day's worth of calories in a couple of minutes. Oh well. It happens. I'll just get back on track tomorrow. Beating myself up and giving up on my goal(s) won't ever help. Life's a marathon, not a sprint.

There are no calories earned. There are only calories burned or unburned. Those unburned hang around my waist.

Thanks for that link. It agrees with my review of available studies that .8g/lb FFM is about as much as can be used to actually build FFM. Of course, that number assumes an amount of protein with an ideal amino acid profile (eggs/whey). Further reading has led me to believe that egg( white)s are the ideal protein…

Melatonin by itself doesn't work for me. Source Naturals Night Rest works well. Somnapure might be a bit better--I seem to get slightly more restful sleep with it--but it's not really worth the extra cost. 1/2 dose (1 tablet) of either is usually enough to kick me into sleep.

hmm. if I disable adblock, I get an ad for a tasty red google nexus phone and ModCloth (a fabric shop?!...probably because I was searching for a place to buy technical fabric).

Stretch marks happen; I've never lost interest in someone over them. Breast implants usually look worse than the woman's natural breasts...but then I am an *kitten*/leg man.

My daily beers are already down the gullet, and now I'm sipping some herbal tea in hopes of hastening the onset of sleep.

Like others have said, just get back to the plan tomorrow. Trying to "make up" by eating too little tomorrow will likely cause you to eat too much the following day. Avoid the yo-yo eating. Just move on. Maybe exercise a little extra the next few days if you really feel the need to "make up" for the binge.

A little over 30. I could barely do 10 a couple of months ago. I would like to get to the point where I can do 50+, but I'm not really focusing on push-ups right now; the pull-up is my current enemy, because I can only do 7 (up from less than two a couple of months ago).

I don't miss feeling bad. No food tastes as good as feeling bad does bad.

1900 net cals. I try for 120g protein, 80g, remainder in carbs. That's about 25p/37f/38c, but I don't think setting macros as percentages is the optimal strategy. I often don't quite make the protein number, and usually don't make the fat number if I've been particularly active. I try to make sure most of my fats are of…

I found out about it a month or so ago, and just last week, I was at my regular watering hole and an HHH group was meeting there. They seemed like an awesome group of folks. I'll definitely be joining in the shenanigans as soon as I trust my ankle to survive in good condition...hopefully within the next couple of months.

^ this is the correct attitude.

nah. I'm gonna have a proper 1/2lb burger for $8.

If you're using google chrome, try this out. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/damonbrent/view/myfitnesspal-google-chrome-extension-617102 One bit of the extension calculates the "quality" of the entry based on the reported calories and macros. It doesn't know if the values are actually correct, but it can at least identify…
