Thanks for the suggestion! The problem is a live with a roommate who wakes up several hours after me. Might be too disturbing.

I did get blood tests done, however on Wednesday I plan on going in for a second opinion, and to check and make sure it isn't some type of colitis. I am feeling better in the week I have been off gluten and the few days I have been off dairy. I like a lot of gluten free substitutes like quinoa pasta and stuff, dairy…

I definitely do have celiac though. I was not at all surprised by that answer as it runs in my family on both sides and I throw up pretty much every time I eat gluten. The lactose intolerance did surprise me though!!

I'm glad this is kind of ridiculous hahah. I read it online somewhere but I'm hoping it's wrong :P

A month ago when I started, I did too many hip flexor exercises and I literally couldn't walk for a week. Then I lost all my progress! Better to start slow :)
-
Definitely listen to your doctor :) There is a reason they told you that.

Thanks guys! The reason I ask is that sometimes I have so much guilt over it even if it fits within my goal! Sometimes a little feedback helps. I guess i'll drink some water, wait until dinner time and then decide. Thanks :)

I would try to relax for a few days and see the outcome. If you really feel anxious, log your calories at the end of the day (approximately) and then see how you're doing. I know what you mean. I don't want to calorie count forever! It's no fun and as someone recovered from an eating disorder, that's how it starts. Just…

2 whole eggs, a slice of whole wheat toast and a piece or 2 of turkey bacon! That's my favorite breakfast ever!
-
Add me! That goes for anyone else too

I live in NY! The bagels here are monstrous. Closer to 600cals each. I usually eat half :)

Yes, I have read the links now! I read them all last night and with that, I took your advice and decided against the cleanse. I am in this for the long run.

I guess it just goes to show that there is still so much confusion out there! I hope one day it becomes clearer, but I am losing a little weight and I feel good so everything in moderation i guess
-
Ahh I didn't mean to start a huge argument!! Thanks to all for your insight. I may be even more confused now. I love fruit and I'm going to eat them in moderation and just try to up my protein intake a bit!

Thank you so much! Super helpful.

Thanks so much! That's reassuring

That makes sense. But I'm not hungry really after 1200
-
Is that too many calories or too few? My doctor said 1000 is a reasonable amount per day cause people generally underestimate their calories. She mentioned that if it think I'm eating 1000, I'm probably eating 1200

Thank you everyone for the input. I guess I'm just frustrated because I've only ever done crash diets before this and I'd lose 30 pound in like....2 months. I'm really trying to keep it healthy this time so thank you for the input

1200

Add on: I am 5'4 and 165 pounds, I'm looking to lose about 30 pounds. I usually end up in the 200s for carbs, I work out 3-4 times a week about 90 minutes and I eat between 1000-1300 calories a day
-
I'll add it in my edits!

Yesterday my carb intake was 216!

For you, it sounds like right now its more important to learn to have a healthy relationship with food before you focus too much on losing weight. Try to eat 3 healthy, balanced meals. Its actually very hard to over eat if you are eating the right things. Then in 2 months if you still want to lose weight, talk to your…

I usually log each item I cook with individually! So, for example if I make a salad. I log the correct brand and amount of lettuce, tomato, pepper, chicken (and any seasoning i use to cook the chicken) and dressing. :)

I'm 5 sizes smaller than I thought....Wow. Thank you.

It depends how heavy you are. In the past when I lost weight, my stomach was the first to go, but I've never had more than 30 pounds to lose. Plus, everyone is different!
