It sounds very good. Is this your recipe/blog? What is the difference between frozen yogurt and the plain yogurt mentioned ? Isn't yogurt ... well... yogurt?

If I have a craving for something sweet and chocolate, I whip up a cup of Maxwell House International Dark Mayan Chocolate Latte. Oh my, it is so good! And if you make it with water & sweeten with Splenda, it is only 50 calories.

I know how you feel. Ice cream is my weakness...and cookies...and cakes. Best NOT to have it in the house. I think one of The Biggest Loser contestants gave a tip towards not eating/finishing off a piece of cake "Pour LOTS of salt on it". Then you can't eat it at all.

Will ring in the New year with darling hubby safe at home, eating our black eyed peas at supper. We will probably watch a movie, play WII bowling or other Wii games, watch the ball drop in NY on TV, drink champaign and then hit the hay. Happy New Year everyone :)

I am 52 and starting over again. In 2011, I gained back 12 pounds and am not happy about it. Lots of it due to stress and different factors, plus lack of staying on my exercise routine. I'm not new to MFP but it is great support. Moderate changes in your diet and an increase in your exercise will get you to your goals.…

I want to give this a shot too! Name: Chriss CW : 212 GW: 190 ( realistically) If i can lose a little more, that would be awesome! However, what I'd like to accomplish in 90 days is to be more accountable for my calorie intake. I want to make exercise as routine to me as breathing in air. I want my efforts to show on me…

I always post on MFP what calories are mentioned on the machine at the end of my workout. The amount of calories that shows on MFP are, in my opinion, set way too high.

You've lost weight and if you continue to lose by eating sensible foods and continue to exercise (get atleast 30 minutes in a day), you're glucose numbers will fall into the range where they want you to keep. I am thinking if you're recently diagnosed, you have time to reverse this. I am beyond where you are now. For years…

Hi Cathy, Welcome. I am from Texas too. This is a great site to log in everyday, check in the foods you have eaten, log in the exercises you've done. It's hard to get started in making changes in your routine, but once you start doing it and learning from it, it does get easier. When you start seeing results and doing…

Just enter your foods using your best estimate of what you ate for that meal. The closer the better. The key is to evaluate what you've eaten that week, look at the carbs/fats/calories it gives, and make adjustments to your diet as needed to have better control of what you consume the next time for that specific meal. I've…

I kind of slacked off this past week , so I need this to help me through the month. I just got a above ground pool in the backyard, so that will help as I love to swim, and even if it's not long, I go round and round in it like a trapped gold fish. :) Other than that, I'm going back to the treadmill at least 3 to 4 times a…

Excellent information. I will have to incorporate "the science" of these wonderful tips into what I'm currently doing. I really was blown away about what happens when you eat dairy products. Anyone want a piece of lowcal/lite cheese/dairy/milk as a snack? Cool! :)

I am making many adjustments to the food I eat and buy to eat, based on what I learn from the food diary. It is a real eye opener. I'm trying out better low calorie/low fat/low carb foods. Some take getting use to eating it. Some taste awful. Experiment the different options out there and incorporate that into your diet.…

Ok, my weight this afternoon: 202 on the scale at the drs office. I lost five pounds from my last visit. Actually, he's not a dr, but a pharmacologist who sees me on a month to month basis to help me analyze my diet, medications, and exercise since i'm diabetic. It's part of medication management program and it has helped…
