Separate recipes for sauces! Why didn't I think of that? It makes perfect sense. I was thinking in terms of the whole recipe. I weigh my portions so this will definitely be accurate. Thank you!

50 weighted squats done! I didn't set out to use weights but my Wii Active 2 gave me weighted squats so I kept going with them.

I am in somewhat of the same boat. It is my company's money I spend for the treats whereas it sounds like you use your own money. I tried buying healthy treats and was told making them healthy negated the fact they are a "treat". Doughnuts and cookies it is then! I just don't eat them.

I like GGDW as break from my normal workout. The dancing is not that hard to me and I am not a coordinated person right now. I tried running this week and while it was euphoric- even with my Asthma struggle to breathe, I am wondering if adding it to my routine will help take more weight off.

JUST DANCE in sweat mode is awesome! I also love the EA FITNESS game. You have a trainer who customizes workouts for you for 9 weeks. I dropped 12# with trainer Devyn! It shows you your heart rate and calorie burn. I find my HRM is more accurate as far as calorie burn goes but the heart rate is usually right on target. I…

Thank you for the advice! Did you lose weight or see a change in your measurements? I'm trying to break a plateau. Zig zagging calories isn't working as well for me as it has other people.

The one I am doing is definitely strength. It is all about the weights and lunges. Your heart rate definitely rises so there is cardio but it is not like doing a Jillian circuit with scheduled cardio.

My experience with Advocare is that you are doing the same thing you should be doing every day- drinking tons of water, eating lean meats, salads and protein plus you add expensive drinks to the mix. As cheesy as it may sound I just made some Taylor Swift ringtones. They are cute and fun. My main ringtone is the chorus of Maroon 5's "Hands All Over". It is soooo sexy to hear Adam Levine singing to me! The lyrics are suggestive but clean if that makes sense! :)

I agree. I have also found that in different phases of my weight loss, one way works but the other doesn't and then they flip flop.

I made my own exercise title in cardio. Some people log it as strength training but I figure if I am burning calories and my heart rate is going up, it is cardio.

I am doing 30 Day Shred for the 2nd time. I lost 17" the first time so I am hoping for similar results this time. I would be interested to know results from Ripped in 30 though. It is probably the next one I will do. I like Jillian's 3-2-1 method.

I do okay doing girl push ups at my own pace. I don't do well doing them at a slooooow pace though. I think I need the momentum of doing them faster to get them done!

I use a scoop of whey protein, a cup of vanilla yogurt, a cup of dark chocolate almond, a splash of peppermint extract and 6 ice cubes. I make it right after my workout. This is actually 2 servings but most days I am running low on calories and it is only 230 so I just drink the whole thing.

I was going to say the same thing! I was almost disappointed in level 2. After trying a different DVD for a month, I am going back for my second round of 30DS. I am on day 5. I am hoping for the same (or better) results as I had the first time through.
