About 6 months, I actually weigh less now and need a new pic.

I started at size 24, and now I'm wearing size 12. This has been a wonderful journey, just hang in there and you will meet your goal also. One day at a time.

I have been on this journey for some over 400 days, and I too am a smoker. I decided not to try quitting both at the same time. I found this site and have had much success, and I have slowed my smokes to only 5-6 a day. I do enjoy them, and I'm not quite ready to give them up entirely yet... of course I know I will once…

I have to wear "Casual Dress" clothing to work, and when my slacks were becoming so big I couldn't hang in them anymore, my husband carried me shopping at his favorite store...Lane Bryant. They brought me the smallest size they carried, a 14, and they were still big on me. So he carried me to JC Penney and he picked out…

I weighed between 140-145 lbs when I graduated 35 years ago. I have grown over 2" in height. I know I will never get down that low again, but my goal now is 175...I'm 4 lbs away from my goal. Don't know if I will acheive it or not, but I'm healthier and happier now than I was then.

The weight loss is fabulous, '10' isn't a high enough number it should be more like 10,000! Your weight loss is fantastic, and you look wonderful!

try not to skip meals, even though you may have over did you lunch, you shouldn't skip meals. Try getting you some salad fixings that are low in calories and have that instead of having more of the fast food. Now that you are more aware of how many calories are in fast food, you might have a different outlook on being "in…

You said earlier that you were not sleeping well. This along with daily workouts might possibly be causing your scales to show an increase. Try to get a good nights sleep, and give your body a day off from exercise and see if there isn't a change. I also weigh myself several times a day, but only record it weekly. Look,…

I agree with most of the other posts. I too had some problems with "why even try", and then I reminded myself of my goal. As hard as it may seem now, remember to keep your head up. You have a very large support group here, and all of us are willing to help. With all the exercise you are doing, you are probably building…

I weigh myself sometimes several times a day, but always first thing in the morning. It's a challege to me to see what the scale registers each time I step on it. I only record my weight usually once a week. I guess it's personal preference...weighing several times a day keeps me motivated and reminded of my ultimate…

That's an amazing accomplishment!! CONGRATULATIONS. MFP has been a great tool for me on my journey to get back into control of my weight. I'm more aware of what I eat now and how much. I've lost all my weight on my own (with a little help from MFP) but no other weight loss help. I feel such an accomplishment because I did…
