I admit it I am a soda junkie - love Mountain and Coke. But for the past three weeks I have not had any sugar and there is no way I am going to wreck what I am trying to do by drinking a soda.....but to my chagrin, I walked by the soda case and had to stop and look, *big sad sigh*. I will not drink "Diet" soda, I just hate the sound of that, even though I drink sugar free iced tea, lemonade, MiO flavor enhancers, and so on....
Back on point, I saw Coca-cola cherry zero....hmmm what does that mean, checked out the label

the angels began to sing!!! So I bought it and the entire time I am praying it tastes good cause I have tasted that diet crap before and it is AWFUL (IMHO). I LOVE IT!!! I guess not having had a sugary pop or any sugar in general has made my taste buds enjoy the flavor of this beautiful fizzy concoction!!!
I am so excited I can have my soda, and drink it too!!!
I had to share.

just be careful you dont drink too much, id limit soda to one can per day if any.. the chemicals are just NOT good for you.0

Diet Dr. Pepper doesn't taste like a diet soda either...its one of the few that I will drink!0

Well, I am a fan of diet drinks, but I know a lot of people aren't. There is also coke zero, sprite zero, and the recently discovered mello yello zero. I was so happy about that. Mello Yello used to be like crack for me ;-)0

coke zero, diet dr pepper, and fesca, all wonderful..but i agree only once in a while, carbonated stuff causes bloating0

That's so funny...because I'm a dietaholic soda drinker! I don't like the taste of the real ones anymore! But yeah...I guess there's been a study (a professor of linguistics told me this, and I haven't actually read it, so I can't agree or disagree with either sides) that links drinking a soda a day to dimensia. (or however you spell it
Really....I do everything else right...so, a little soda here and there, yep....I'm a fan0 -
still equals a bunch of chemicals - so try to limit. Good luck with that!0

I was the same way!!! I didnt touch a diet drink untill about 2 months ago.... im not sure if i forgotten what a real one taste like or if it was just that good but i liked it... i really did like the diet cherry dr pepper... i do limit it to one a day though if that.....0

Diet drinks are good, especially since they have 0 calories, but watch out for the sodium this is in them. It can be very high in some brands.0

You should also try Dr. Pepper Cherry (diet). You won't believe how delicious it is!!! One a day, though, that's it.0

diet sode is my one vice.
My extremely overweight brother will criticize me whenever I have one around him, warning me of formaldehyde and whatever other 'bad things' he read about diet soda on-line, just before he steps outside to start his 2nd pack of cigarettes for the day.
My point is - while diet soda isn't 'good' for you, it's far better than regular soda and if keeps you from giving in to other cravings, then have it.0 -
Does it have HFCS? I steer clear of that ... but I don't drink anything carbonated anymore ... the carbonation makes me feel bloated ... for hours!0

Definitely will be an occasional treat...sad to say I have had about 5 sips and now I cannot stop burping and I feel like a helium balloon. I guess it is time to close it up for another day.....
I have been very adamant about not using artificial sweeteners, but caved when I started my journey. Just due to the fact that I have to drink something sweet and now if I want like an ice pop or jello or something. I have even allowed my daughter to start too, I feel like I should keep following my rule of staying away from them but I need some sweetness in my life.....0 -
I use to be a Mountain Dew Freak a couple of years ago but began to change my diet a bit and switched to diet Mountain Dew. In my opinion, diet Mountain Dew tastes way better then regular. But I still only limit myself to 1-2 a day.0
