Might work, because you might **** out 8-10 pounds of water weight. It won't kill you so if you're curious give it a shot. Just don't think that this is sustainable for the long term.

I would trust it as a good starting point (like anything). The calorie recommendations for exercising do seem high to me though. If I workout 3 hours a week - I should eat about 2338 calories a day vs. 2041 if I didn't...I use an average of a few different formulas. That's 279 more calories a day, or 1953 a week. There's…

Nice job on achieving MAXIMUM GAINS

How are they chicken meatballs if you're using turkey? Ha. Sounds good though. I'm a Jenni-O fan myself.

I'm not really on here to lose weight, but this happens with many things. The reason is because they deep down want to prove something (know more than you, etc.).

Here's a weekday....which varies depending on when I go to the gym..and when I wake up.: 7:00 - Breakfast 10:00 - Snack 11:30 - Pre Lunch 1:00 - Lunch 4:30 - Snack 7:30 - Post Workout 8:30 - Dinner 9:30 - Snack Weekend...which doesn't follow any logic: 9:00 - Small breakfast 11:00 - Post Workout 12:30 - Lunch 2:30 - Giant…

I had sex for an hour wearing a 40 pound weighted vest

If Crossfit goes away, can I still wear my shirts that state how hard I workout?

I joined a crossfit 'box' about a month ago, and am leaving in a month. Nothing against the sport or the gym (coaches are good, and the workouts do get you in better shape), but it's not for me. Many people watch the crossfit games, which is comprised of guys with strong lifting and athletic backgrounds outside of…

Run. With sandbags on your back.

Usually sub oil is just olive oil mixed with spices and vinaigrette. But like you said, it's going to be extra calories The olive oil I use is 140 calories and 14 grams of fat per tablespoon. Unless you need the fat, go for a mustard or more vinegar based spread to save calories. Personally I just get pickles and tomatoes…

I only ever got the Double Hamburger and McChicken (no mayonnaise). I'll indulge maybe once a month. In my opinion, I would never pay over 2 dollars for a sandwich at McDonalds.

No sugar. It does have aspartame though....in case you're against artificial sweeteners.

Thank you for your assistance in my time of need.

How big is the margarita? And how many miles are you walking? Drink it if you want it.

It's true. I could pay 1,000 to get my level 1 certification within a weekend, open a box, pay my annual license fees - and start leading crossfit classes. I could also open another gym franchise and lead workout classes too. No certifications required if you're the owner. There are bad coaches everywhere, it isn't…

Until I'm stuffed, with things I like. Luckily I like vegetables.

Not sure what your workout routine is - but try something new. If you walk, try aerobics. If you already do some sort of HIIT, try high volume / slow paced body weight exercises. I don't really want to comment on your eating habits without knowing the whole story - but try eating some more fat and some less carbs. Just a…

I actually just microwave my egg whites. It's quick. But I stick to the classics, throw in some broccoli and olive oil. Can't go wrong and mushroom and onion though.
-
Well...there was some talk about portion control and cheat foods - so I chimed on with what I do. I'm sure many people have 'cheat' days and lose weight. That's how message boards work right? Including exercise, I eat at a very small surplus during the week. On the weekends, or any free days - I eat what I want. I have…
-
I'm not trolling - that's what I do? It works for me.
-
I don't do portion control. When I get a craving for, let's say, ice cream - I'll finish off around a couple of quarts. I'd rather go all out then have a cup every night.

It depends who you ask. Ha. For instance, I consider beans to be a 'clean' food, but they're not 'paleo clean.' I eat pretty well but I'm sure I don't fit within the 'clean' guidelines...my weekdays consist of natural peanut butter, egg whites, oats, protein powder, vegetables, olive oil, bananas, chicken, and sugar free…
-
And a few key notes. Some gyms (I hate saying box) will push paleo, and there are a good amount of *kitten*. All sports, gyms, and exercise programs you do will have some people who think they're better than everyone else. That's life. I think when people start to define themselves as a 'crossfitter' rather than someone…

I just joined a crossfit gym about 3 weeks ago. I wanted to start some strength training, and also still do cardio - which is why crossfit was perfect for me. I also hate running because it's boring. The workouts are tough enough that sometimes I question whether or not I'll get through it - but that's what I want. You do…

I'll agree with Kashi - the original version. 2 cups should fill you up - 320 cal, 2 fat, 26 protein, 70 carb (20g fiber). It'll keep you regular too. Keep in mind it's soy protein, which I'm personally not big on. As soon as I wake up I eat 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1 tbsp peanut butter.

Like someone above said, make healthy choices...which would mean nothing fried or sitting in a tray of grease. I primarily load up on sushi. I feel I get my money's worth after about 30 pieces.
