I use "harmonized vegan protein brand" as I can't do dairy and I put it in a protein shaker in the morning. Then I use the fountain at the gym and drink on the way home. You could do the same with a high protein bar.

Nny of the doug mcnish cookbooks are great (sooooo many recipes jammed into these books- he has raw and non-raw), oh show glows as others have said and Judita Wignall's "raw and simple" is a great raw foods cookbook.

To expand in the excellent suggestions to add bulk by way of steamed or raw vegetables, always eating the vegetables first can help with feeling satiated and consuming less calorie-dense foods.

I would take a 3 -4 week break from the nut butters and see if it helps. Maybe try a smoothie with PB2 and see if that squashes your nut butter cravings.

I got out of an emotionally abusive relationship a few years back. It was an incredibly difficult time in my life, but ultimately I know I am much better off and I am happy now. The best advice I can give is to focus on self-care and let yourself go through the emotions you need to in order to heal. When I left the…

I've been doing it since the spring and I've had great results, The workouts are all pretty basic moves that I was familiar with but the program is helpful because it's so prescriptive and you just need to follow it without having to do a lot of planning. It will definitely help with toning.

It's hard when you are on a tight budget to eat healthy but it's not impossible. Definitely structuring your eating around produce is a good idea. Humble foods like cabbage and spinach are inexpensive but amazing for health and weight loss and beauty. One of the most inexpensive things I make is a slaw using vinegar…

BBG stands for bikini body guide. A personal trainer from Australia put together a program that involves 3 low intensity cardio sessions per week, 3 circuit training sessions and 1 stretching session. Her ebooks cost around 70 bucks or so (I can't remember exactly) but because they are PDF's, once one person buys them they…

I have BBGs #1 and #2. I make modifications if I don't have the equipment that's needed or if certain moves don't feel good. I use a chair in place of a bench if I am doing the workout at home versus the gym, and I dumbbells in place of a medicine ball etc. I don't follow her nutritional advice (I see a sports dietician…

if you have a stationary bike rather than just riding it you could try a youtube spin class video to get a better burn and have a more interesting ride. You could also do some muscle work in a circuit format that will not only burn calories but build muscle and improve body composition. For example you could add squats,…

I don't consume dairy at all, and I use nut milks or coconut milk ( I actually make my own nut milks) in place of regular milk, vegan "nut" cheese in place of cheese, I make my own dairy-free pesto for pasta. Raw vegan recipes are often really good for those who don't consume dairy as are paleo recipes. For frozen treats I…

I have done the wild rose, and I think it's a pretty reasonable cleanse. It's not like a juice cleanse, it's really eating a lot of whole foods and taking some supplements. The supplements do make you eliminate, so I find it's better to be at home while your body adjusts as you may need to use the bathroom more than normal.

You could go with a pea protein, a hemp protein or a rice protein or a mix of these vegan proteins like "Vega" of "Harmonized Vegan Protein" which is similar to Vega (cheaper with less attractive packaging). They don't taste quite as good as Whey but they aren't bad and you can mix with frozen fruit etc.

I used to eat them, but they are highly processed so I stopped but they do deliver a lot of protein grams compared to many other bars.

feel free to add me too! I work out consistently and log/comment daily.

I use the paid seconds app. It has a lot of different function. I also use tabata timer despite being able to use tabata in seconds because it's so perfect and simple for tabata sets.

If your gym offers classes, that might be a good place to start so you can learn the proper technique and be guaranteed a full body work out and a proper stretch. Spinning burns more calories than most other classes, but mixing in some classes ith weights can be helpful, then you can progress to the weights in the weight…

My diary is open if you want to add me. I try to stick to 1200 but I find I eat more on days I don't exercise bc 1200 doesn't feel like enough.

That's awesome! I love the paleo lifestyle too! It's hard to give up sugar, but ultimately your sugar addiction goes away and the paleo way of eating is delicious and satisfying.
