  • On days when I'm short on time I nuke an egg in a ramekin (approx 30-40 sec), and toast a sandwich thin with 2 pieces of canadian bacon (one on each slice) and then put 1/2 slice of cheese in the middle. It keeps me full and doesn't taste horrible! approx 200 cals (depends on the type of canadian bacon)
  • absolutely stunning! congrats on your success--you look fabulous!
  • This is one of my very favorites.....saute peppers, onions, mushrooms and any other veggie and italian chicken or turkey sausage. I usually have a plain sweet potato with it! very filling and quick!:smile

  • Good morning! I have a question for all you runners. I am in the middle of the couch to 5k and wondering when and if I will ever NOT struggle. Do you all feel like you were born to run or did you get into it later? I hear everyone talk about how much they love to run--do you think ANYBODY could feel that way or is it some…
  • Woo Hoo! I just finished week 4 day 1!!!!! I can't believe I did it. I run on the treadmill in the morning because I can't leave my son, my treadmill has the speed buttons on the side so I change between 4 and 5 with just the buttons. Wish i could run outside, feel like it would help break the monotony. Have a good day…
  • Hey all! Hope you are having a good weekend. I just finished week 3, day 3. Had to talk myself into it all day--finally did it at 6pm! If I don't exercise first thing in the morning I have a hard time doing it at all. Plan on starting week 4 on Monday-- a little nervous but up for the challenge! Have a good nite!
  • I didn't know there was a board for the C2 5K! So excited to have to have some accountability...I did day 2 of the 3rd week this am. I run on the treadmill. I walk at 4 and run at 5. Feel like its too slow but it gets my heart rate up and it isn't easy for sure! I'm nervous for week 4 but am sorta excited at the same time.…
  • thanks--you guys rock! just needed some reassurance that it can't happen that easily. Whew--what a relief!

  • Hi, I am looking for people who are using this site while pregnant just to keep in control. I adjusted my settings to maintain instead of lose but was wondering if there is a way to do it better? Just want to try to stay controlled this time around. Thanks for any suggestions!:flowerforyou:
  • I know I saw this posted not too long ago but I can't find it again. What are you all eating before you workout? Thanks for the ideas!:flowerforyou:
  • I have been on this site for almost ayear now and am not seeing results, can't stay motivated and am frustrated!!!!! Thought maybe if I joined a group and became a team player maybe being accountable to other people would help be stay motivated. I don't know what to join or maybe I can't join now anyway--can someone…
  • Many prayers coming to you from me!
  • I'm not sure if this will be helpful--I have used the couch to 5k program. It should come up if you google it. It is a 2 month 5k program that trains using interval walk and run. Maybe you could at least get a few pointers. I hope this is helpful!:flowerforyou:
  • we had a cat that didn't take the addition of our son well and got even worse when we moved. she started peeing on things. we tried to medicate her and when that didn't help we gave her up (to a quieter, no kid house). I'm told she is doing okay now. my question is....we are considering getting another cat BUT i am afraid…
  • thaks for the suggestions--I'm excited to be able to do this and don't want to get hurt in the process!
  • this may not be a running problem but .....I just started jogging on the treadmill. I can't do much yet so i alternate with walking. I have gotten blisters on the bottom of my toes-just on my left foot. Anybody else experience this? I'm not sure if it could be my shoes or socks? i'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks!!
