I got the FitBit about a week ago, it's been a great motivator! Feel free to add me! https://www.fitbit.com/user/3KYSQ2

How many times have you tried to lose weight? This is the third 'on' time, I've kept the majority of the weight that I lost off, but have been waffling between 200-215lbs for about a year now. How many times with MFP? Been on MFP since 2012, I think? Again, off and on. This is the third 'on' time. What has caused you to…

(Again, this is all before I fell off the wagon! I haven't been good about food or exercise in the past two months or so.) I was doing Insanity (Shaun T drives me nuts though), playing tennis, and bike riding until it became ridiculously hot and humid. I live in Florida. However, again with the excuses, so I want to get…

I was logging regularly until I fell off the wagon, and am starting to log regularly again today. I used a lot of excuses to stop logging, but don't want to have that happen anymore.

If you have a hard time with quantity of food to get your calories, try adding some more healthy fats, like nuts/avocado/peanut butter, etc. those things are high in calories for smaller portions.

I'm in Orlando, feel free to add me. :)

Without seeing your diary it's hard to say whether it's a nutrition thing or something else. I agree that it could be a blood sugar problem. It could also be that you aren't eating enough; again without seeing your diary it's hard to say.

Howdy! It definitely is predominantly women on the message boards, but men are definitely here!

I love the lemonade and sweet tea ones, my fiancee likes a bunch of the others.

1. Soy milk 2. Bananas 3. Bird's Eye stir-fry peppers

I've never tried this with actual egg/flour/etc. There was a post a while back about how to make an even easier mug cake, all you do is buy angel food cake mix (this is very important, as it means you don't have to use egg!) and whatever flavor cake mix you'd like. I personally love chocolate and red velvet. Mix the two…

with only 20-30 lbs left I'd suggest you be at 1lb a week tops.
-
I tend to just throw in a bunch of basic ingredients. I agree with the above poster, if I plan meals ahead of time, most of the time I don't feel like it later.

bump!

That sounds like an excellent plan! My SO and I had to get a memory foam king size, because of how much she wiggles around and such, and I need my space! Anyway, I don't think that not sharing a bed is particularly weird, a lot of people just need their space and/or don't like getting woken up by snoring, restlessness,…

Oh man, I love those 1000 calorie burritos from Chipotle! :D

Strength training/weight lifting!

It's impossible to gain two pounds of fat in a night. Drink a bunch of water and wait a couple days.
-
-
Also, check out fat2fitradio.com, among other sites, to figure out what your TDEE and BMR are, that'll give you a good reference for how many cals you should take in a day.

I would definitely suggest eating more. I am 5'5" male, 204lbs, and MFP had initially set me at 1600 calories. I actually upped it to 1820 recently (before exercise) and have been steadily losing 1.5lbs a week since I did. Your body needs fuel!
-
It works, for sure! I started seriously tracking in late Feb of this year, and have lost 35 lbs so far. Just stick with it, be honest when you log, and make sure you eat!
-
These are delicious! I mixed a little bit of marinara into the filling, and it was excellent. Definitely making it again!
-
Oh also, in terms of protein, MFP has the goal set really low for that. I went and changed my macros to 40/30/30 (carbs/protein/fats) because the protein that it initially sets is like 15%, which doesn't fill me up at ALL.
-
I'd start upping your cals to eating at 1500 and see how you do/feel (do it gradually if you need to, start with 1300, then 1400, then 1500). If you're still not losing after 3-4 weeks, look at changing up what you're eating/exercise/etc. I know it seems like a contradiction to eat MORE than what you are in order to lose…
-
Depends on your height, weight, and activity. I'm eating 1820 a day not including exercise cals, and I'm losing 1 1/2 lbs a week.

I've been thinking about buying a pair, so bump to see what other people say about them!
