Penny: that is great that you have entered a 10k. I know you can do it! Becky: how did the doctors go? What is the story with the foot? Sheilarm: great loss. Try and check in more if you can. Lots of comraderie to be had Jehan: give yourself a week off being good and then weigh in. You will get there! So I lost 2.2lbs this…

Gettinyoung: I'm with you on the seasonal thing. I don't miss the snow of Canada but it at least brightened things up. 10 years in England and the months of flat grey weather still do me in!! Thank goodness we are supposed to have sunshine and warmth this week!!! skimflatwhite: thanks, i'm rather fond of her! So the news…

Been a bad day. Got some worrying news and its taken all my power to not eat absolutely everything in the house. I could log but can't be asked. I did bad, I know it. May try to run later as that is what I instinctively wanted to do but with baby couldn't. Tomorrow is fresh and will hopefully go better.

Penny hope you get feeling better soon and I am glad you have been forced to take care of yourself a bit more. When you are back to normal then its on your bike! Jennfl: well done on not indulging in the whole thing and getting some exercise in!

Thanks Penny! Happy to discover I was down 1.2lbs this morning which means I am ending the month 1lb down from where I was at the start. Its tiny but given the fact that it has been a super bad month, I will take it! The last 4 days have resulted in me being down almost 3lbs which just goes to show how being diligent with…

Welcome to the new faces. Only have a few minutes so sorry for no personal responses. Been trying hard this week with the eating as I said in an earlier post. Monday night I was watching biggest loser (season 13 - we are behind over here) it touched a chord in me. My beautiful baby girl. All the excuses under the sun are…

Its a thread for support so come back and post often (in the manner seen). Share worries, successes, tips, struggles and support! The more you give the more you get :)

Okay I will try and pop back later to really read everything but for those that I remember: Zena: Glad to see you back!!!! Becky: you will be fine on your next run, I know it. I have faith in you. I need to get back running. I know when I run, the weight drops off. Need to brave the cold and the feeling of being inadequate…

Well I failed spectacularly this week after Monday! No exercise this week (a few walks with baby but not REAL exercise). And the last few days I have eaten whatever I wanted, the list of sinful food is long. I had been craving crap for over a week now and every day was caving a bit and finally I had it. I actually figure a…

Penny: I’m with you. I’ve never been a fan of that statement but I can see why it helps some people. Personally, when my mindset is right, I always ask myself ‘do you really want this, why are you eating this, is it going to make you feel better?’ Not really a mantra but has stopped me reaching for the biscuits. Hmayo:…

Have flu. Enough said.

Hey everyone, well I jumped off the wagon this weekend and then let it run over me. But I'm back on. Every time it happens, I'm reminded of how crap I feel after eating really really bad food. Wish I could remember that before it is ordered and eaten! Yesterday was really food and easy...wish every day could be like that.…

Well trying to stay accountable. Lost 0.6lbs this week and haven't been on the scales since...a little nervous about it...just feeling heavy if ya know what I mean. I've got the 10 glasses of water every day and am aiming for 12. I've tracked 6 days this week. As for the exercise, I had 2 days of Just Dance Sweat, 1 day of…

Well where is everyone?? Come on, lets be supportive of one another and post how we are doing!!!! I only lost 0.6lbs this week but I didn't weigh in last week cause it showed me up 5lbs and I didn't know if it was real or TOM or the anti inflammatory. I am just glad to see that they are gone so I will happily take 0.6…

Wow, its certainly been a quiet weekend on the board! Well the flu hit our house and its still lingering in the baby so we are housebound for a few more days. Its actually starting to drive me a bit crazy but it's necessary. If the weather holds out I might take her for a short walk this afternoon. It was also a long…

Julie: What a great NSV!!! Yay you!!! StephanieSt: I’m with everyone else. After 10lbs or so I always seem to stall. I always figured it was my body trying to figure out what was going on MrsG2: sounds like something my hubby would do. If I say I’m tired and don’t feel like cooking his answer is a takeaway instead of him…

Well a bit of googling has possibly revealed what my problem is (the mystery weight gain). The doctor put me on Naproxen for my wrist pain (due to hoisting baby around). Lots of people report sudden weight gain of 5 -10lbs in just a couple of days when taking naproxen. I'm hoping that's what it is. Essentially it causes…

Grumpy and annoyed at the scale. In two days I've apparently put back on what I'd lost this week....can't be! I've been good with eating. I know I haven't been exercising with baby being so poorly but come on. It better be due to TOM, GRRRR! Will comment on everyone else when I am in a better mood.

****NEWBIES: JUMP IN AND JOIN THE CONVERSATIONS....ITS THE ONLY WAY THIS THREAD WORKS AND GAINS MOMENTUM!!!!****** Pennsciteach: it is hard to fit in the exercise - so any bit you get in deserves a pat on the back! Good luck tomorrow with the Kinect and let us know how you get on. MrsG2: I said the same thing to myself for…

5.4lbs RELEASED THIS WEEK BABY!!!!!! I am estatic!! I really was not expecting this. My goal for January (didn't get back on the wagon until 9th) was to lose 5lbs this month with an ambitious goal of 10lbs. I currently sit at 6.6lbs for the month. This means that the 10lbs is getting closer. I credit a lot of this to the…

Morning! Well since my slip up, I've been feeling better. I was super strict the next day and drank what felt like my body weight in tea and water. Yesterday proved fairly easy and today is so far so good! I weigh in tomorrow and I am very hopefully for a good number on the scale despite no real exercise since Thursday.…

Who mentioned self sabotage??? Well that's me! So I had an okay release this week and was feeling pretty good. Nice long walk with the baby, did 30DS twice and then I hit. I am one who weighs everyday (I know my body and patterns so it suits me). I saw a good number and was happy. Then baby got sick...cold and…

Morning losers! Well I released 1.4lbs this week. I was hoping for more but I will take every ounce that I can get. I also decided that this was the day to tackle 30DS so when baby was taking her first morning nap I got my sweat on. I normally do all my cleaning during that nap but decided that she can entertain herself…

Becky: sorry your feeling frustrated about your trip to the doctor but I am glad that you went and got some answers (stupid nurse!). As frustrating as it is now, getting fully better will allow you to get back to your normal routine faster than being half/half so longer. Julie: I hear ya! This weekend was my downfall as…

Great to see so many faces! I hope you come back and post often and join in discussions. Becky - hope you get feeling better chicky! I hope this takes off. I miss all the support we used to have going. Well yesterday was a struggle. I did well until about 4 in the afternoon when I just ran out of steam. Hubby was still…

So many lovely new faces! Nice to see some fellas here too. We used to have a skinny rooster but he went MIA. Laney - well done on your release. That is a fantastic amount. Well it is day 3 since I got my Christmas overstuffing scale shocker. Its actually been going pretty well and has reminded me that I can fit in…

Hello All! My name is Stephanie and like some of the others, was an original 'skinny chick'. I started my journey on Jan 2 2010 weighing 368lbs. I had had enough of being tired, sore knees, sore back, not being able to buy what I wanted in clothes...you know the story. I started at a gym, trained with my wonderful trainer…
