Need more support
I've been in this journey for quite a while but have taken a 15 month break due to being pregnant and spending time with my precious little girl. I had a very supportive group of friends on here originally but I wasn't active in the site during my pregnancy or after and as a result lost a lot of friends. I have a long way…

Pesky Hamstrings!
Anyone else suffer from hamstring problems? Mine get this horrible pinched feeling at random points during my workouts and then they put me out of commission for a couple of days. It happened randomly in zumba yesterday and this morning they are so sore and achy. Bending over and stretching them is super uncomfortable. I…

Yep they were good. Yep they were covered in soury sugar. But I have to ask. Does the calorie counting and the total vigilance…

Sprint Triathalon
 Anyone fancy joining me in a sprint triathalon today? Needed something different to do at the gym as a bit bored with circuit training (did too much this week). A sprint triathalon consists of 750m swim, 5km walk/run, 20km cycle. The time it takes to complete not important! Should have a big burn from this!!…

Self Destruct
This is more of a rant than anything else. I seem to be having an exceptionally hard time staying on the wagon lately. I have a couple of good days then I fall off, get rolled over by the wagon and dragged behind it. The only upside is, the next day I'm firmly back on. I stayed on the wagon a really really long time and…

Frustrated
I am getting so frustrated. I am being super good with my calories, while I don't eat back my exercise calories, I eat around 1500 cals a day on average. I have been exercising like a fiend (2-3 days circuit training, spin, cardio days). And I can't get the scale to go down. I have been on the cusp of 100lbs lost for ages…

To Weight or Not to Weigh
I'm struggling. I've been approaching the 100lb mark now for quite a bit (at least a couple of months). Its driving me crazy. I normally hop on the scale every morning (I'm aware of daily fluctuations). This 100 lbs lost thing has been looming and I really want it but feel like i'm self sabatoging as I get closer (don't…

antibiotics and weight loss
So I've been super good with my calories but the scale doesn't seem to be moving. I've been taking doxycycline for a chest infection for the last 10 days and have 4 more days to go on it. Anyone know if antibiotics have an impact on weight loss? Thanks!

PCOS question
Just got home from the doctors and being sent for a whole lot of blood tests. The suspicion is PCOS. But from what I've read on line I'd miss periods if that was the correct diagnosis?? Hunger
Okay so in the last couple of weeks I have really upped my weekend workouts. Today I spent 91 minutes working out burning just over 1200 calories. I've come home, had a bunch more water and made myself a wrap filled with chicken, lettuce, pepper, light cheese and tzatziki sauce. I also 5 pickle slices. And as I sit here…

EFA's
Does anyone take a suppliment to get EFA's(essential fatty acids)?? One of the trainers at the gym was suggesting it to me but I'm not sure if he's doing it out of interest for my general well being or for the sake of pushing a product. If you've taken it, whats your experience been? Any good? Thanks!

In My Dreams
If you could do anything with your life, what would it be? This has been hanging in my head the last few days. I am very happy with my job and my husband but the dreams still dangle.... I would love to open a shop called 'Stitch and B*tch' that sold cross-stitch and other sewing supplies along with tea and cakes. I would…

a tiny nsv
Today I completed 3km. It took me 27minutes which is my best time and its also the furthest I've done in 1 go. It may not be the best time as I did have to walk a little bit in parts but I can remember 16months ago when running around the corner to the bus wouldn't have happen. This makes completing my 5k British Heart…
