Not sure if this helps you but I know exactly how you feel. I had my refeed day last saturday. I'm slowly reversing out of my diet right now so my metabolism sits at roughly 1800 calories. For the last refeed day I estimated about 2500 calories which was my TDEE before I started to cut. However, I had a huge binge that day…

Before I forget that - Is it even possible to mess up a reverse diet apart from gaining too much fat? Because I'd really like to maximize my metabolism.

May sound weird but I love grilled broccoli. :D

Sadly I can not really show any progress pictures as it's friggin' difficult to post a picture here. However, it did definitely work for me. On topic: While I don't avoid healthy stuff I certainly don't eat the way people would consider as "clean". By now I've lost about 13lbs over the course of 15 weeks or so (Christmas…

No need to be sorry, everyone has to start somewhere right? :D Keep in mind that these calculators are not necessarily pinpoint accurate, you might wanna test it out for a week or two and watch your weight. A little fluctuation is normal but if it roughly stays the same, go on and start the diet. If you already feel sure…

I don't know if 1200 cals is much or even enough for you to be satisfied on a daily basis but I'd definitely recommend a cheat meal. Do you follow the recommendations mfp gave you? In my case the amount of calories where way to low. I took two weeks to find my basal metabolic rate and subtracted 500 cals. If you don't loose or gain any weight on 1700 cals the 1200 cals you chose should work just fine. I'm not a huge fan of low carb because I think…

Hi there! As you can't achieve both things at the same time (technically you could If you're a beginner), either focus on getting leaner or building muscle. Both goals will take some time anyway. Depending on what you want to do first, your calorie goals will differ quiet heavily. For building lean muscle mass I'd…

Going to the gym, pushing those weights heavier than ever!

The problem is, if you choose a calorie deficit that is to big, your body will eventually switch to some kind of emergency mode. Our bodies haven't developed too much over the last thousands of years, so technically they're still in Stone Age and in order to prevent us from dying, our metabolic rate will seriously be…

I'm 18. Feel free to add me. :D
