Your exercise (calories burned) is ADDED to your daily total. You can eat extra calories that you earn by exercising. Zumba can burn 400 to 600 calories on an average for a 1 hour class depending on your intensity :)

Exercise is the key to earning more calories for me. I work out so I can eat lol I'm hungry a lot so I drink a lot of water. I'm giving up 200 extra calories a day, simplifying means and ditching the "frill" with eating. Keeping it basic.

Yes, it happens. Start fresh today and don't stress about it!!! :) Its one day at a time, one meal at a time! You might want to exercise a little harder today to help you "feel" better about it and offset the extras but if you don't you don't, if you stress over it its even worse for you.

No I don't feel guilty when I take a day off......we are an active family and I do not work out on Sundays but we are always on the go, outdoors or something. I don't think you have to workout everyday to be healthy :)

Have you had a physical recently, just to make sure you are healthy? When you say you can't do more than 10 minutes on the treadmill, is it because you are bored? Out of breath....to what extent? its in the laundry room, I pass by it daily lol I don't weigh myself vey often maybe once every couple of weeks! I'll be anxious to check out the scale after two weeks of REALLY monitoring what I eat and sticking with a calorie defecit!
