You look absolutely amazing! Congrats!

If MFP is telling you to eat 1200 calories, then yes, you should be definitely eating the 300 calories you're burning in exercise, giving you another 200-300 calories a day, which will make a HUGE difference. On the days I don't work out and can only eat the 1260 MFP gives me I'm cranky, but if I can get it up to 1500 or…

I'm almost 100 pounds over "ideal" and even my doctor told me to eat a 1200 calorie diet, no lower.

Maybe not on it's own, but it certainly helps me feel full and thus I eat less.

I don't know if it's MFP, or just that I'm finally ready to lose weight, or what my deal is, but I've been doing MFP for about three weeks. I've lost 5.5 pounds, I have eaten whatever I wanted (just smaller portions of things that aren't as healthy for me) and I have never felt deprived. I really feel like I am going to be…

I take a 24 ounce bottle of water and put one of the flavor packs in (Kroger brand, way cheaper than Crystal light). They are supposed to flavor a 16.9 oz bottle but I like it just fine in 24 ounces. I leave it on my desk at work and got in the habit of taking a drink every once in a while. I fill it and drink it once in…

Like others, I haven't given up anything. I control my eating via portion control. I can be just as happy with a half a glass of milk and 2-3 oreos as before when I'd eat seven or eight. We made homemade chicken enchiladas last night. I had two. Today for lunch I had one. Before I would have gorged on them like I was never…

I weigh and report to MFP every day, but only my Thursday weigh-in "Counts" as far as I'm concerned. I just like the daily thing so I can say "See, you had a big bowl of pretzels last night and now you're retaining water!" :P

Lots of ups and downs this week so I was worried about my weigh-in today, but apparently all the water I drank yesterday (9 cups!) flushed my system out and I had a two pound loss for this week! Yay! 3/03/2011 - 216 3/10/2011 - 214 3/17/2011 - 3/24/2011 - 3/31/2011 -

I do Dance, Dance Revolution for the Wii, doing the "choreograph" mode so there's arm movements, as well. I go for 40-45 minutes and I'm definitely sweating by the end. You can do four or five songs before you have to take a quick break to switch to the next set of songs. Low-effort aerobics for my weight clock in at about…

I've been playing DDR on the wii on the "choreograph" mode which also uses arm movements as well as leg, and it is quite the workout. 40 minutes of that a day is really helping boost my weight loss.

Solid white tuna with a ton of celery and a tbsp of light miracle whip on low-fat triscuits, three giant strawberries and possibly a square of cheese if I'm still hungry - if not I'll hang onto that for tomorrow. 308 without the cheese, 388 with it.

No, a 500 calorie _deficit_, meaning you have to burn 500 more calories than you eat. So exercise off 500 calories, or exercise off 250 and eat 250 less, or eat 500 less.

Daily Calories: 1250 Height: 5'1 Current Weight: 220 Calories burned from Exercise: 300-ish And I eat my exercise cals because the 1250 is set to what I should eat to lose without exercising. If I'm exercising, I get to eat more.

First, I would ditch the Wonderbread. Even the "whole wheat white" would be better if you aren't used to whole wheat bread. It's just fluffy and while it has a lot of calories it isn't very satisfying, long term. One of my favorite breakfasts are the Quaker Oats "high fiber" instant oatmeal packets. They are only 180…

My rule of thumb is that I never go below 1200 calories per day, taking exercise into account. So if I eat 1700 calories but burn off 300, that puts me at 1400 and I don't eat the exercise. But if I only eat 1400 and I burn 400 at exercise, I'll eat another 200 to put me back up to 1200.
