  • I would say educate yourself. I juice everyday, but not as a detox, but as an enhancer to my lifestyle. It can be expensive, but not if you stop buying all the processed stuff and replace it with veggies and fruit. Our house looks like a grocery store. I juice daily for my husband and I. I tell everyone how much I love…

  • Congrats! You look amazing! 10 pounds can have such a dramatic change in ones' body. Good luck with reaching your goal. I have no doubt you will achieve it.
  • I was having similar results, and you are working out much harder than I. As suggested, I ditched the scale and started going by clothes and tape measurements. The measurements don't lie and I confirmed my progress. ( which I really knew but the scale can play with your mind... LOL) Pictures are great too, but I think you…
  • Jillian Micheals Yoga.... I've been doing a lot of HIIT training over the holidays and am pretty sore. Have the DVD and have never attempted it. Thinking it might be the best workout for me since I'm so stiff!
  • Healthy lifestyle is a journey not a race. Eat healthy, exercise and stay within a reasonable calorie deficit. It may not happen in the time you want but if you do the above you will get there. Good luck!
  • You are doing awesome! Keep up the great work. I can be impatient too! Need to remember it is the lifestyle journey not the lifestyle race. We are part of a "right now" society, and must remember half the battle is re-training our heads that healthy and consistent will win the race. Way to go!
  • Congrats, your story and dedication are inpirational! You look amazing!
  • So very happy for you! I can hear your confidence and strength in your post. Believing in yourself is so important! Once you got that nothing can stop you. Congrats on your progress. Pictures say a thousand words, and you have worked hard and deserve the results. Keep us updated!
  • What an inspiration! You look wonderful, and congrats on your latest race.
  • Great work! Your work truly shows!
  • It is just a matter of trying different things. I'm not a gym person either. I found an all women's class doing HIIT training that kicks my butt twice a week. I also use at home video's, added kangoo's and weight lifting to the mix. I love my class as I've met great friends and I use the other options for my third workout…
  • You seem to have the skills, just time to put them into action. You can do it! Before I joined MFP I had never even considered logging my calories. Exercise was already part of my daily life. I find logging and letting friends see my day is a great motivator. Quick question, is Jenny Craig all processed foods? Just a…
  • Great transformations of everyone! So inpirational! Think there is no magic pill. Eat well, keep working out, lift, keep under your calories, your body decides what comes off and where, and stomach for so many women is last. Keep up the great work and it will come.
  • I have a desk job which helps. Bottled water always on my desk. I'm currently drinking 8-10 cups before I leave the office at 4:30. At first it was a chore but like anything if you keep it up it becomes habit. Drinking that much water also keeps me feeling full. A nice side benefit. As mentioned we do get water through…
  • A fitness buddy or class was a great motivator for me. I personally like it over a straight gym membership. I met people that first class and got some great new friends. We would talk about the next class etc.. When the class didn't run (our trainer had a baby and took a well deserved couple of months), one of my new…
  • Thanks everyone. Will give some of these options a try.

  • Congrats! Your story and dedication are truly inspiring!
  • Congrats! Keep up the amazing work!
  • As mentioned, eat a deficit, log really accurately. Planks, reverse crunches, mountain climbers, superman, etc... good luck!
  • Nothing that hasn't been said by so many above me, but I haven't said it, and totally think you deserve it and more. KUDOs, awesome, you are such an inspiration, your transformation is unbelievable and you look amazing! I'm sure the journey was beyond hard, but your determination and sheer will is shown to all. Congrats…
  • Great articles provided. Start with honesty with yourself, get a food weight scale, and wear a HRM while exercising. Until I got a HRM I was using MFP calories burned. They were generous to say the least, which made me feel great mentally but reality was that it was inaccurate information and hindering my goals. Good luck,…
  • Hi @hollysue! I'm feeling the same! I'm 5'5 and working out 3 - 4 times weekly. I'm using 10 pound weights and am totally fatigued by the end of my workouts. I've never weighed this much 147 - 149. ( Heaviest ever!) Clothes are fitting better and I feel better but scale is going the opposite way. I did drop a couple pounds…
  • Your co-worker is wrong, wrong, and wrong again. You can do it through hard work and knowledge. Time to block out the negative and embrace positive supportive friends. The only thing between what you desire and results is you.
  • Congrats! Amazing results. I love reading success stories. You should be very proud!
  • One of my staples is Wildroots organic triple berry mix. Sometimes adding more fruit to it. Yummy and satisfying until lunch.
  • My issue is definitely chocolate. I've become a chocolate snob, so it helps if you can imagine. All that Halloween candy doesn't cut it. If it isn't dark chocolate and Lindt or other high quality chocolate, I feel the taste just isn't worth the calories. Now give me a couple squares of Lindt chocolate and I'm not hiding…
  • I think a few new clothes are in order. Beyond the fitting you better they can also be a great pick me up to seeing a new you. New doesn't need to be off to the mall. Considering this is just a step in the bigger journey, I think new to you is all you need. Check out your local thrift shop to see if that is an option for…
  • Congrats! You look amazing. Inspirational story...keep up the great work.
  • Great work! I've watched the DDP Yoga guy and what an inspiration! Keep up the great work!
  • Totally agree with this advice! Drop the pressure and up the time and effort into continuing your healthy lifestyle. In the end it will show.
