I think that if this image were posted in the MFP fitspo thread, everyone would be like    I do think it sits wrong with some people because it sort of implies that EVERYONE should be able to look like that, or should want to look like that. Which not everyone can look like that and of course not everyone…

Only a couple, and usually I take it as a sign that I need to change my profile pic.

I'm so happy for you! Great transformation (mental and physical) :)

I don't see surgery as cheating or the easy way out. I think it's a very very hard way to lose weight. First of all, it's serious, scary surgery. Second, once you're done with surgery and recovery from that, the way your body works is changed, how you can eat, etc. I'm sure it depends on the type of surgery, but I'd be…

I was overweight or obese from the age of 17-18 to 28. I was in the 200s and obese for most of that time. Almost every one in my family is obese and I honestly had gotten to the point where I thought I was just always going to be obese and that I should just accept it. But then I changed my mind and committed to losing…

I maintain on right around 2000 calories. I go to the gym 4 times per week. I'm 5'3.75" and about 133 lbs.

hehehhe that's what I was thinking. Avocado and ranch are both pretty high in fat and calories. Which is partly why they are so amazingly delicious.

I eat 200-300 grams of carbs per day and I'm more than happy with my results. However, I also make sure to average at least 100 grams of protein per day and 45 g of fat per day. Adequate protein and fat are important for health and body composition IMO.

I'm right in the middle of the healthy weight range and my thighs rub.

Homemade pizza is by far the BEST! I've been using this recipe for dough lately: http://food52.com/recipes/16641-jim-lahey-s-no-knead-pizza-dough I love mushrooms, peppers, and onions and sometimes pepperoni or sausage

LOL my hubby is the opposite. He'll get worried and say "are you sure you're eating enough?" His TDEE might be 3000, but very unfortunately, mine is not and, yes, 1800-ish is "enough" ;)

I love this little "guide"... but honestly I think it might take you longer than you think. I've been working on this alllllll year and I still can only do ONE chin up (zero pull ups) or several negatives. I know I'll get there eventually but not sure I'll even get there by the end of the year. You might have better luck…

GREAT work :)

Nice!

Anytime I see a woman in the gym doing unassisted chin ups or pull ups, I'm mirin. Same for guys actually, but especially weighted chin ups and pull ups

LOL pretty much this only I moved into maintenance around a BMI of 24 and now after about a year of losing roughly a lb a month, I'm around 22.8. My BMI was as high as 40 before I joined MFP

I don't live at the gym and I still say 3-8 ounces of chicken for me, depending on the meal
-
agreed

My goals are 100+ protein and 45+ fat and I usually have chicken with lunch and dinner. I just don't really like beef much :P Chicken meatballs, chicken breasts, chicken thighs. In soup, with peppers and onions, in quesadillas, with green beans and carrots, etc. I'm not a fan of egg white omelets but I do love omelets,…

homemade quiche this morning with onions, peppers, tomatoes

All of this ^

CONGRATS! You look great!

I'm wearing capris right now. I never knew it was a "rule" not to lol.

I usually eat between 3-8 oz of chicken, depending on what I'm having. If I'm having a quesadilla, I usually only have about 3-4 oz (half of a breast). But if I'm having the chicken on its own or as nuggets I'll have a 7-8 oz breast.

LOL I need to check out this other thread. I take about 15 minutes to shower, but then about 10 minutes to do my hair and makeup, maybe 5 minutes to get dressed. Most of my time "getting ready" in the morning is taking care of my kids and getting breakfast and lunch together. Oh and packing my gym bag too
