IMO it's normal for motivation to go up and down. But if you're really committed, you'll keep doing it even when your motivation is lacking. I usually love going to the gym but some days (or weeks) I reeeeeeeeeally don't feel like doing it but I do it anyway because I want to be healthy and fit  I think if you keep…

I love so many of these  AWESOME idea OP I didn't know what to say but my point is that you don't need to be unhappy and hate yourself to want to make a change. I feel like a lot of fitspo sends that message...

I was in size 20-22 when I was 229 lbs. Now I'm 133-ish lbs and wear between size 2 and size 8 jeans, depending on the brand. usually size 6.

I started in the 230s with a 1 year old and a 3 year old and a full time job. I would be way too hungry to stick to a 1300 calorie diet. I ate around 1600-2000 calories/day during my weight loss (depending on my weight and exercise at the time) and now I maintain on about 2000. Good luck!

I was going to suggest those as well. 10 g carb, 5 g protein. Throw in some chicken seasoned with cumin and you'll meet your macro lol. http://www.latortillafactory.com/products-3.aspx

it's really easy to edit recipes through the app... not so with the website

Reduce exercise from 7 hours per week to 6 hours and 25 minutes per week. Use the additional 5 minutes per day to track your calories. :flowerforyou:

GREAT job!

amazing progress :D

I had 2 eggs from my in-laws' chickens and an english muffin and cheddar cheese ETA IMO it doesn't matter WHEN you eat your calories so I don't think breakfast will help you with your plateau unless it helps you eat fewer calories somehow. :)

Wanting to look better is vain. Is that bad? No. Caring more about the scale # isn't vain, but it is counterproductive to your goal to look better. I understand. I have fears about "gaining" too. I worry that I'll just gain fat and never lose it, even though I know that's just a mental block

I haven't painted my toe nails for years. I wear flip flops and sandals and never felt the need to paint them. ETA I've never paid someone to paint my toe nails lol
-
Yes just try to stick to your calorie goals and get enough protein and you'll do great :)
-
I agree with the others that there might be something about you that we don't know that would make him recommend that. But I will say that I successfully lost weight averaging around 250 grams of carbs per day / around 50% of calories from carbs per day.

I usually have 2 per day. Sometimes 0, sometimes 6 lol. I love poached eggs with toast and avocado or cheese or bacon
-
I like it :D.

Awesome. Great job

 ...maybe even an app to go with it!

Yes, I weigh/measure and log everything. It's easy. Plenty of people reach their goals without counting calories but this is what I like. :flowerforyou:

My BF% is around 24% and I know plenty of guys with similar BF%. Trying to figure out if that makes me manly or them womanly....
