Just sharing personal experience. I have always eaten around 200-300 grams of carbs per day and I haven't had difficulty losing weight at all. IMO, you only need to worry about calories and getting enough protein. If you get enough protein and stay under your calorie goal, eat however many carbs you like.

just first trimester for me. good luck

You've been eating at tdee which is why you haven't lost weight or inches. If you want to lose more fat, you'll have to have a calorie deficit. My tdee is similar to yours and I've been eating close to my tdee for months, which is why my weight and measurements are the same. :)

I agree ^ It's likely that the method you are using to estimate your LBM is inaccurate which means you don't really know how much LBM you've lost, if any.

I don't really consider a lb a week slow. I lost 85 lbs in about 18 months.

My cardio is walking to and from the gym and 5-10 minutes on the elliptical for warm up 4 times per week and some walks with my family. I maintain on about 1900-2000. The problem is, I'd like to LOSE some more fat but I know that means I either need to up the cardio, increase my NEAT somehow, or eat less  lol

It really doesn't matter when you eat or how big or small your meals are. What matters is how many calories you eat and your macros. If you are lifting and getting enough protein, you won't lose excessive amounts of muscle. What I'd do is stick to the 1900 for a few weeks and if you find you haven't lost as much as you'd…

I pretty much always lost about a lb per week. There were some weeks that I'd "lose" 8 lbs that I just "gained" on vacation or whatever.

oops thanks :blushing:

I wouldn't call what you are going for skinny fat at all. It sounds like you want some muscle definition just not what you'd consider "too much" muscle definition? That just means that if you start seeing more definition than you'd like, you can just gain a few pounds of fat. You might lose the lines you DO want though.…

Funny that everyone seems to have read this as if the OP is worried that he's going to accidentally get ripped. I just read it as he's wondering if anyone else has similar goals? maybe I missed something  Anyway, I wouldn't say I want to get ripped but I would LOVE some nice muscle definition, and I think it's going…

I am similar in height and weight and have similar imperfections, some loose skin, plenty of cellulite, stretch marks, sagginess... I still feel awesome about my body and love it. I'm hot despite my imperfections, at least my husband and I think so lol, and I'm guessing others would say the same about you. Might not even…

Wait someone has sent you a friend request asking that you decline said friend request ? Lol

I mostly watch protein. I aim to eat a minimum of 100 grams per day. I also try to get at least 45 g fat per day. Carbs are the rest and they usually end up around 200-300.

I'm a lifer. It's easy, it helps me plan out what food to prep for the day or week, and it helps me with macros and calories.

Hi! If I didn't exercise, I'd just have to eat less, so I can't really say one is more important than the other. To maintain my weight now, I eat around 2000. If I exercised less, I'd probably maintain on 1700-ish. I reached my goal weight about 9 months ago but I go back and forth between thinking I'd like to lose a few…

I was 85 lbs overweight and I started getting comments about my weight loss after I had lost 40 lbs. I took progress pics so I could see the difference.

You and me both lol!

You just need to switch to thongs apparently

Until 2011, zero exercise. First half of 2011, regular exercise but it was just a chore i did for results. Since mid/late-2011, regular exercise and I love it! :D

Mine got a lot smaller but same cup size since the band size is ten inches smaller (cup size is relative to band size). I'm happy with the size of my boobs though ;)
-
I didn't quite. But I lost 85 lbs in 18 months, eating around 500 calories per day under TDEE and exercising regularly. Then I reduced my deficit so I was eating just a little under maintenance and I've lost about 10 lbs since then (about 8 months).
