awesome job! congrats

My husband isn't at all interested in fitness and found me perfectly attractive before I lost weight. I did/do this for me. Originally so I wouldn't be embarrassed by getting out of breath walking with coworkers and feel self conscious about my appearance and to hopefully be able to walk when I'm old ;). Now I do it…

Agreed

I agree. Weighing more than you look seems to be a positive to me. If you're healthy and happy with what you see in the mirror, then that's awesome

this. I actually only have 1 that fits well, so I hang it up between uses and wash it on Wednesdays and over the weekend.

Mention my diet coke habit as a negative? /Deleted

That's actually how I've been feeling this week. Which is why I have a hard time losing the last little bit of fat I'd like to lose  ...that and because I'm super happy with my body as it is

I'm not a bodybuilder, and as I've said, I maintain on about 2100.
-
Your tdee is around 1400. Mine is around 2100. Our size and possibly age differences (didn't check your age) could be part of that. Or activity. I'm in the gym 4 hours per week, a couple of walks per week, and sedentary otherwise. Some people would attribute the difference in our tdees to starvation mode. By that they'd…

2100 isn't a lot for me and it's easy for me to eat 2100 (or 2500 for that matter). I said 2100 are my maintenance calories. I averaged 2200 in July and for the past week, I've averaged 1800. I eat chicken, vegetables, fruit, eggs, breads, chips, ice cream, peanut butter, PB2....um.... cheese... lots of stuff. I think my…

Follow her advice. Everyone has different calorie needs to lose/maintain/gain. 1200 + exercise calories is "right" for some and not for others.
-
You really think this is the same for everyone, except the "seriously overweight"? That shows that you really don't understand weight loss or calorie deficits. Do you know that if you really maintain at 1400, you would lose less than half a lb per week (not saying that's a bad thing--my point is that most people would lose…

I hope this is something you can overcome. I don't feel guilty about food. I love food! I do try to keep my calories between 1800 and 2200 (right now). But I don't feel guilty if I'm over and I certainly don't feel guilty for meeting that goal. :flowerforyou:

To answer the original question, I think you have a great chance of having no issues with loose skin. I starter larger and older and I barely have loose skin at all. Hardly noticeable. Good luck

:ohwell: :noway:

Do you weigh and measure your food? I know with your diary open people are going to nit pick and say "oh, bad you, you ate doritos" etc, but it really shouldn't matter WHAT you eat, how high your sodium is, etc but just the calories for weight loss. You do want to make sure you get enough protein to make sure you're losing…

This! Do what works for you :flowerforyou:

I honestly think it's mostly luck (genetics) and age and there's little you can do about it. I do think it's smart to lose at a reasonable rate and do some sort of resistance training so you don't lose all of your muscle mass along with the fat. I lost 85 lbs over an 18 month period and 10 lbs in the past several months…

Lift while you lose! To be really ripped you have to attain a pretty low body fat percentage, so if you ever feel like you're a bit too "ripped", just gain a little fat

Hi! I think that where you have your LBM as 73.56, you mean 73.56% of 174 lbs so about 128 lbs so that's what you would want to use to calculate your macro goals. I'm not sure what you're doing after that so you could be doing this some other way in which I am not familiar
-
I looooooooooooove Ezekiel bread for grilled cheese, paninis, and peanut butter toast :) I haven't been getting it lately because it's higher calorie and more expensive than I want right now
-
I really don't like beef so a lot of fast food is gross to me... well the beef kind  but the rest is yummy. I just don't have it often because it's hard to fit into my calorie and macro goals without feeling hungry all day. plus I do love my veggies and fruits and feel they help me out nutrient-wise

Hmmm I think if my arms ever got more muscular than I'd like (can't imagine that ever happening), I'd train arms less often, like try once per week... But IDK that would make me sad sooooo.... not sure. And I'd stop eating at a calorie surplus, which I'm not anyway lol.... Good luck

Love the show! Not at all interested in being ON the show. lol.

lol this. I drink 1-2 diet cokes per day and it hasn't hindered my weight loss, I feel great too
