  • Hi there, Would like to join in, I lost 50 pounds over a year ago, now with baby #4 is 2 months I have those pounds plus more to lose. Stopped drinking pop and sweet drinks New Years Eve, have not started a serious calorie count yet, looking for motivation. I am exclusively breast feeding and hungry all the time, so that…
  • Thanks for some encouragement! I wish I knew where the original motivation went. I was able to pass on the sweets for such a long time, but no longer, after i eat my meal all I can focus on is what sweet item I can top it off with. I need to really switch it up at this point, so I am at day 4 of my new attempt and I have…
  • Thank you for all the responses, I like that I can connect with moms who get it and can still tell me to get going! I feel amazing after the 50 pound weight loss and know that I will never go back (FX) I feel that I am kinda in a slump because I can afford to lose another 50 and need to connect with those feelings that it…
  • This is the same scenario that has me in a rut right now, I fell apart during thanksgiving and can not get back on track. I will bake a cake and eat a lot of it, I do not buy the cake, I pull the ingredients from the cup board and bake it. I find I go in cycles for cravings, yes I understand this is a lifestyle change, yes…
  • I am 5'6" and have lost 44 pounds, well I am up a few since thanksgiving unfortunately. Was hoping to be further along and have not kept a photo log of my progress unfortunately. I feel great though and wish I had some better self control with sweets as the next 40 will be really hard.
  • My goal is 12500 a day, this means one vigorous 35 minute walk and one 10minute walk during my breaks. Then its chasing children when I am home from work and voila 12500 steps are taken. I have stalled at 44 pounds lost but I contribute that to not keeping calories in check. I did run around the house to get my 20000 step…
  • Thanks, congrats on your first 15 too. I also have excellent blood pressure now too. Lots of positive changes, going to purge all my clothes now for the next size down.
  • YES! I too suffered with severe heel spurs at my heaviest. And when pregnant with twins I thought my knees were shot. I can hustle up 7 flights of stairs, walk 45 minutes and chase said twins and 1 year old with NO tylenol for pain anymore. I have a long way to go but down 44 pound and feel younger now than in my early…
  • KIYY If I could eat like that I would not be having this weight problem :D
  • I am a work in progress. I was 299 pounds the day my twins were born ( and a tad lighter shortly after :D) but still when I posted that number on the scale I was amazed. Shocked, stupified, but not quite ready to do anything about it..... After baby #3 I was stuck at 262 and rising. Today I am 220ish. Walk, eat within your…
  • Sucks to be me! In my defense I was on holidays for 2 weeks which threw my routine way off! Started 10 day cereal challenge to get back on track. Today is day 2, chewing sugar free gum, yum! SW: 262 Aug 1: 219 Sept 1: 221 UGH! Goal at Christmas 199 I can do this!
  • Shake things up, I will eat cereal for 5-10 days twice a day, broke my plateau instantly but did mess with my head in I thought I should reward myself after for doing so well, hence 1000 calorie overage. Just my 2cents.
  • So I stopped buying chocolate bars, or muffins, pop etc, now I have to get rid of the cocoa and chocolate chips from the cupboard so I stop whipping up a batch of cookies or a cake. Chewing gum like a crazy person lately too and over dosed on blueberries, turned into a major laxative mistake.
  • 12000 steps a day, 1400-1600 calories. Struggling with a sweet tooth lately so trying to get a handle on it.
  • 45 minutes of fast walking pushing a stroller with toddlers in tow on bicycles.
  • Hi Ansin, I own the vertigenius cuiZen rotisserie and love it. Roast whole chickens are easy and delicious. We also make chicken thigh schwarma as there are different accessories for it. Good luck.
  • Usually 45 min walking and stairs ( 6 flights to my office, have not taken the elevator in 3 months and leave the office multiple times) but on holidays currently, only did 15 minutes walking today, my twins were slowing me down! Lol.
  • Here I go! Start weight: 220 Goal Weight: 199 by Christmas day. Final Goal..... 150? 160? Lbs to Lose: 21 (70) 08/01: 220 09/05: 10/03: 11/07: 12/05: 12/26:<<<GOAL WEIGHT>>> I can do this!
  • Hi Everyone, I am a 40 year old mother of twin 3 year olds and a 1 year old. I found the scale saying 271 last Christmas and thought if I want to keep up with these kids I better lose some weight, and thus it began. I detoxed from sugar and caffeine ( very hard first few weeks). I want to hit One-derland, so about 21…
