  • MFP terms - need assistance. What are the "Macros" "CICO" and "TDEE" that is discussed here. Thanks.
  • I have an urgent question, how do you meet those 40%/30%/30% and still eat enough calories. I'm losing weight, but calorie intake is too low according to MFP and I don't want to get sick. Suggestions would be really great. I usually finish my day with 300 or 400 calories left over.
  • 41 pounds in 32 days? Wow - how do you do that? More details please. Thanx.
  • That is a dilemma. Is the WW scale not digital? I would have to go by how I feel. If you are like me, you probably know if you feel 133 vs. 137. And, whichever you pick, stick with just the one.

  • I love those McDonald's Smoothies. The banana/strawberry is 250!

The really bad thing is when our body has used all the fat, it can actually start to use-up the muscle and guess what is a muscle . . . the heart. It can do damage to the…
  • Hi, this is a great site for weight loss. Something about being accountable for everything we eat. Slow and steady really is the best way. The weight will be off before you know it!
  • Probably best to check with your dr, but I take both and sometimes together, but my flaxseed is in softgel form, not the oil.
  • Hello and hang in there! I was hungry at first too. Only because I HAD been eating well over 1200 calories per day. Your body will adjust. Good luck and keep us posted.

  • As far as I know - and my knowledge is pretty limited, sodium retains fluids in your body. Retention of fluids makes the heart pump harder and thus the increase in blood pressure as well as the appearance (on the scale) that you aren't losing weight. Seems to me there has got to be a better way to get your blood pressure…

  • It's my understanding, our bodies will hold on to the water if we don't drink enough. This can equate to gains on the scale.
