  • I have 150+ lbs to lose. I would love to have some accountability/motivational friends!
  • Thanks for the replies. I DO have a food scale and I use it religiously. As far as my daily caloric intake, I’m just going by what the MFP app set for me... I’m actually not struggling as far as feeling hungry or anything.
  • Thank you everyone for taking the time to respond. It still seems pretty daunting when I think of how far I have to go to achieve my goals but I’m really going to try. I actually have my first gym session set for tomorrow. Again, I appreciate all the responses, it’s comforting to know I have a real support group who…

  • Thank you everyone for your input. It still is a discouraging thing to not see the numbers fall, but I'm going to start taking measurements, hopefully that will give me the decreases I want to see and not just feel. It's great to have a support system to go to when I'm feeling down.
  • The left is probably at around 306lbs. the right around 260lbs. Still have a long way to go, but I'm getting there.
  • The left is about a year before I started MFP at around 307lbs. (fyi, that's a hat, not my hair, lol) and the right is a year after I started MFP at 256lbs.
  • I haven't really eaten anything that strange. I've had rattlesnake chili, rabbit stew, duck fat fries, and buffalo sausage. Nothing too crazy, and I enjoyed all of them.
  • I drive a Torch Red 2005 Mustang. I love that thing.

  • Way to go, you look fantastic!! And props for covering Regina Spektor also, I'd never have the guts to even attempt her songs. I play guitar and sing as well, just haven't had the courage to put up any videos. I do have a SoundCloud account that I recently set up, if you're bored and want to check it out sometime (I only…
  • Hey Courtney, Welcome!! I've been here almost a year now and have met a lot of great motivators and read a lot of amazing and inspiring success stories. I'm at the 45 lb mark but still have a very long road ahead of me, so, I too, need motivated. Feel free to add me if you like. A journey like this is always better when…
  • Just finished Day 1. My first time doing the 30DS DVD and holy crap it's intense.! My whole body felt like jello for about half an hour afterwards. Stayed under my calories for today and got in 48oz. of water. Here are my measurements from this morning: Weight: 261.4 Neck: 16.5 Bust: 52 Waist: 55 Hips: 55 Thigh: 26 Calf:…
  • I would love to be a part of this! I actually planned on starting the 30 Day Shred on Monday (1/23) anyway, so having a group of people to help keep me motivated would be even better!!
  • Fantastic!! I remember the first time I dropped a size. It's a great feeling. Enjoy it!
  • Hello and welcome aboard!! Good luck on your journey! Feel free to friend me...and we can help each other along!

  • Thanks so much, guys! I can't tell you how good it feels to have this site to share these little accomplishments with. It's nice to be on the same journey with so many different people and to be able to relate with others.
  • I can sympathize completely, I graduated in 2001 and I've never had a "real" date. I only recently received my first kiss about two months ago. I was very self-conscious because of my weight and I know that contributed greatly to my lack of male interests. However, since I started losing the weight, thanks to the help of…
  • My most favorite Greek yogurt treat is one that I got from a Kirstie Alley interview and it is absolutely delicious. It's plain, nonfat Greek yogurt, with some Stevia and ground cinnamon. It's the creamiest, most delicious treat. I eat it at least twice a week. So, so good.
  • Feel free to add me as well. I have over 100 lbs. to lose. I've been tracking my calories and working out since February and today I hit my 20 lbs. lost mark! I don't have many friends here yet since I've just started being active on the boards, so I would love to make some!
