  • Still not 100% accurate, but I found this site helpful in calculating burn on a stationary bike. http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc It doesn't factor in resistance but at least it factors weight and height.
  • From what I've read, they're pretty accurate. I use them as protein boosters when I haven't hit my goal. All I know is, they work well for me. :)
  • I'd tried losing weight before but it never stuck. Didn't have the strength, mentally, to keep at it. Last year, I had to have back surgery. I'm only 32. I decided that as soon as I could, I was going to get stronger and healthier. Haven't looked back since.
