My sister did WW and other "diets" she got fed up and started doing her own thing. She's lost 100 lbs on her own and she taught me a lil something too. I lost about 20lbs even tho i'm not trying to lose weight.

Welcome, there are great people here who can help. My advice is to document what you eat daily, this way you can see what you are really putting in your body. You would be so surprised what we eat that is not necessary or nutritional.

I am now in maintenance mode, but I expect my weight to go lower as I continue to tone and then pick up as I build muscle. I usually keep my weight goal in a range, not a specific number

I think what our "IDEAL WEIGHT" and our optimal weight should be are very different. Our Ideal weight is what we tell ourselves we should be and that is usually a number, but our body keeps ranges. My optimal weight range is 160-140 lbs. Think anout giving urself a weight range

I agree with you here. I stop counting calories. I just stop eating certain things like Bread, pasta, rice and most processed foods. But since rice is my weakness, I eat it 2-3 times a month in small amounts

Samantha I am not trying to discourage you but it is hard work, but work that is rewarding. I am sure it took more than 2 years for the weight add on. You are in a good place with great ppl to help you get to your goal. Don't be discouraged, look at this as your greatest test and it's to commit to losing the weight.

Crockpot is a great way to go, but also portion your foods and please make sure you eat. It's important that you eat at least 3 meals a day and healthy snack in-between if necessary. Eating small portions helps.
