  • Well, a lot of people were aware that I was trying to lose.....but the first person that noticed that sees me occasionally and didn't know....was about 21 lbs difference - pretty much my goal weight. Went from 146 to 125.
  • I actually had Mexican for lunch today. I had 2 beef hard shell tacos with lettuce and cheese with sour cream on the side, and chips and salsa. According to the MFP calculations that all was only 505 calories... I only ever get tacos though, mainly because no one in my house will eat them, so I rarely get them. I suppose…
  • I didn't set any date goals. My goals are basically to get to a certain size/weight range. I started this journey (seriously started) in Feb 2011 and am basically at my goal size right now. Just trying to lose about 4 more lbs for fluctuating purposes, then maintain. I think setting dates just builds you up for…
  • I totally get what you are saying. Out of my close girlfriends, I am probably the smallest in weight.....but, I am still working on getting back to where I started before having kids. So, it's something I feel like they sometimes resent me for because I am smaller and still wanting to lose. Not all of them, but a few, so I…
  • I would be mad! Heck, at our wedding we had people back out from coming for dumb reasons. One of our good friends was going to a concert instead of our wedding....another one rsvp'd (one of my good girlfriends) that she would be coming. well, she never showed because her sister had a baby the same day. And you know, still…
  • 5'6" 125 lbs - wearing some 4's and my 6's are still fitting or getting a bit loose at the moment.
  • My husband LOVES the new/old me! I was this size, well actually smaller when we met, so after 2 kids, I am finally back to my starting weight! Well, almost  Just about 5 more lbs to go, but my confidence is back and that was ONE of the things that attracted him to me in the first place
  • I totally agree with this ^^^^ I get people in "real" life say similar things, like 5 more lbs? where is it going to come from? blah blah blah....Well, I have been 120-125 before and I was just fine. Heck I've even been down to 112, and I know looking back at pictures, that was too low for me. Just a few lbs really makes a…

  • I like mixing my tuna with non-fat plain yogurt. It really cuts the cals even more so than the light mayos out there. Add some hard boilded egg whites, little mustard, and mix. I like to eat it on either a bed of lettuce with some shredded cheese on top or on a sandwich with lettuce/shredded cheese. I like using the…

  • I used 3lb hand weights the entire time. At times, it felt like they were 50lbs, lol, but once you get going and start building muscle, it's much more tolerable.
  • just bumping to read later....
  • Here is a link to my results. The stats are listed first, but the pictures are posted on page 2. It really does work if you stick with it. Just make sure you take before pictures and measurements so you can compare when you are finished. You may see a bigger loss in inches than weight.…

  • My problem is trying to convert the piece of lasagna that comes out to me into ounces so that I can make a decent estimate of how many total ounces it actually is so I can log it easier. I don't mind going over, I just want to try and log everything the best that I can. For me, the lasagna will be the highest calorie food…
  • Oh WOW!! I guess I'll be going over my calories today! LOL Thank you all for your help. It's greatly appreciated!
  • I was also going to suggest the cooking sprays that are butter flavored. I know the one I have is zero calories, but I honestly never tried adding it to anything for me specifically. I think I will try that on my green beans the next time I have them.

  • I am pretty much the same way ^^^^^ I do my official weigh in on Friday and over the weekend I tend to eat more than through the week so I do go over sometimes. But, I weigh myself almost every day - first thing in the morning and before bed to see how much I'm fluctuating. It's normally 1-2 lbs and then as long as my next…
