Oh I forgot! I love bay leaves in stuff that has to simmer for a while, and thrown in with my pot roasts. It just adds a unique flavor that you can't really pick out when it's there, but you notice when it's not. I also LOVE Cholula Hot Sauce. I can DRINK the stuff!

I log my weight using the doc's scales (every 3 months), but I weigh myself inbetween just to keep an eye on it.
