I don't trust, but I'll log it and eat it as served. Simple truth is that it'll either affect your weight over time or it won't... If it does, maybe consider cutting that stuff back a little. If it doesn't, rock on.

^ I like your style. Like others said- your choices are basically to eat it, don't eat it, subtract the calories you didn't eat, or don't. History shows that I'd probably just eat the rest at some point in the same day.

We don't have a designated pizza night, but the last few times we've made our own. We both enjoy the process and the ingredients. Hard to beat a pizza that's made exactly the way you want, unless you're just in a major rush.

Maybe she logs what her activity tracker gives her for exercise and has a 500 calorie deficit. I can spin data all day long to make it tell one story or another... That's just a guess. My weight initially shot up when I started eating at maintenance and exercising. Came down after about 6 weeks and I think I've stayed under goal ever since. I did and I love it. Nothing crazy short... was just about the top of my shoulders when I cut it. I'm all about lower maintenance these days. So much easier to deal with now that it's chopped and much more comfortable with the warmer weather.

If nothing else, log everything. And instead of changing what you eat, maybe start by just changing how much you eat.
