I lost 70+ lbs through diet alone and had no problems. I started running again after I reached my goal weight and it's definitely much easier on the bod now.

You don't need exercise to lose weight. I didn't do any regular exercise until I reached my goal weight. That took me a year.

I doubt you'll find running shorts with pockets big enough to hold your phone, but I could be wrong... I use a Flipbelt (flipbelt.com) for my bigger items when I run.

I'd be depressed if that's all I ate. Seriously though, maybe you should talk to a doctor.

Make room for the bagel. Eat the bagel. There are no bad foods. I don't think I've ever actually eaten a bagel before... Is that weird? Might be my next mission. Some of these flavors sound reeeally good right now.

The only tip I really have is to start getting back on track now... don't wait until tomorrow or Monday to start.

Is there a medical reason why you shouldn't lose 10 pounds?
-
For me it'd be the treadmill because I burn more calories running at a constant speed than I do moving the pedals on the elliptical on my own. Basically, the treadmill forces me to maintain my level of effort and the ellipitcal doesn't.

Lost 70+ lbs without exercise.

If I feel like I need to eat and I've almost run out of calories, I still eat... I just try to reason with myself a little. I'll have a piece of fruit with some cheese or a granola bar rather than diving face first into the first container of delicious food I see. That helps me feel more justified in my "overeating."
