Has anyone here had trouble/getting stuck at the last 10 ish pounds? I've kind of thought maybe not doing the calorie deficit as big, maybe eat more to maintain and then weight train to build muscle. It's the only thing I can think of to get the last 10 lbs of fat off.

I'm also 24 with about 10 more pounds to go (before I start muscle gaining) so anyone feel free to add me as a friend, I need more support! :)

I'm having the same problem. I'm thinking it's time to start with more weight training to build some muscle, even though that seems impossible with a caloric deficit but I guess it's worth a try, I can't think of any other way to get the last 10 pounds off.

Actually none. When I was overweight, no one said anything to me about it. I knew I was bigger, but I didn't really realize how much bigger I actually was until I unintentionally started shedding pounds. I look back at pictures and wished someone had said something to me to open my eyes up sooner.

Oikos greek yogurt. Can't get enough of that stuff it tastes so good and only 100 cal per cup, which is pretty good considering how filling it is. Other than that, the only other protein I get during the day is dinner, and I usually have chicken as my meat choice. Most days, even without trying I tend to go over my daily…

I just went to a baby shower for my aunt yesterday and couldn't stop myself from over indulging on the sweets, cause it's not often I get any at all. Anyways I felt like crap the rest of the day, intestinal cramping, bloating and complete loss of energy, not to mention extreme crankiness. So, today I started with a black…

I was confused, but I'm assuming because MFP already calculates the deficit in before it gives you your daily goal. That daily calorie goal is then what you should be aiming for in terms of calories. Burning calories is useful in being able to make up for over indulgence and also required for getting into shape via…

I've been on here a while as a member, but I neglected it for months. So, I actually officially started 10 days ago at 128lbs. This morning I weighed in at 123.6. It's really impressive being aware of what calories go in vs. out can do. And to mention, I've eaten better food for sure, but I haven't cut out the junk…

I'd say sure I'm doing it to look good for other people, but that in itself is for me. I'm the one who feels good from compliments. But I am actually mostly losing weight for better health so the older I get, the better quality of life I'll have. Not that I want to live forever, but I wouldn't mind it being fulfilling and…

Just see how you can fit it into your calorie intake limit. A typical glass of red wine is 100-125 calories, so I can't see it hurting if you just have some here and there throughout the week.

Ya, I guess it's different for everyone. I mean, I've seen weight loss eating junk, but I'm sure I didn't go over my calorie range and I have a very physically active job. In fact, this was before I was even trying to lose weight. Now, I realize how many calories I burn a day at work, and I've changed my diet a bit to make…

I actually have a hard time maintaining the full feeling, and Oikos Greek yogurt is one of the few things that keeps me satisfied. It's only 100 cals and is high in protein.
