Dark chocolate bark. Oats, cranberries, coconut, crushed pecans, and crushed hazelnuts with melted dark chocolate poured over and frozen. Awesome. The best part is you can use whatever you want its just granola and chocolate at it's core.

Calories are only half the battle, the type of food and your metabolism can also be big contributing factors. If you have time you should read the Jillian Michaels book "Master Your Metabolism". It is really informative and helps fill in the answers to some of the questions concerning why just cutting calories doesn't work…

My mom tried slim fast a few years ago and it didn't do much of anything. The bars are useful if you can't have a good meal though.
