  • You are truly an inspiration! What an amazing difference. You look awesome! Congrats on all the hard work, it has paid off. :o)
  • Personally, I don't count when I go up. I just wait to get back down past where I was. Mainly because a lot of times it can be just water weight. If it were me I would go with 5.8lbs even though the 8.6lbs sounds better :o)
  • Welcome! MFP is an amazing place with even more amazing people. Use all the resources and tools available here and you'll do just fine. MFP has work better for me than any other diet/group/program I have ever tried. I wish you the best of luck and if you need any additional support and encouragement feel free to add me. :o)
  • I have a horrible sweet-tooth, though it is getting better. I almost always have SkinnyCow desserts(100-150 cals) or WeightWatcher's Ice Cream Candy Bar's(150 cals) in my freezer for after dinner. For daytime sweet cravings I like Emerald Dark Chocolate Almonds (150 cals)
  • Awesome job! You should be very proud. :o)

  • My co-worker and I walk for 15 minutes on our break and then for 30 minutes on lunch. We are currently trying to get our chairs replaced with an exercise ball chair. Read a lot about them being able to help work your core while sitting. Unforunately after we got an Okay for them they took it back until we can find an OSHA…
  • CONGRATULATIONS! That is an amazing accomplishment in and of itself. You should feel so proud. I have noticed that my boys are eating more fruits and veggies since I started my life style change. It may be because that's what I make and what we have in the house but I hope that they would make healthier choices on their…

  • Logging in here and tracking my food daily really helps keep me motivated. Reading posts in the "Success Stories" forum is very motivating. Friend as many people here at MFP that you can and they will cheer you on along the way. For me Cheering on my MFP friends helps to keep me motivated too. I have dieted many times and…

  • I always had success with WW, but it was never motivating enough to stick with it. I have had better success here at MFP and I feel more accountable, I track better, I'm more motivated by everyone on here. As far as the amount of calories with MFP or points with WW. I think it's best to use the guidlines as just that but…

  • Definitely add everything separately. I love to use the Barcode scanner and just input the serving size I used. If it's something you eat often you can also create a food or recipe that you can save for future use. :o)
  • Welcome to MFP Sheri! This is a wonderful place to be. The support and encouragement here is amazing. I'm so glad you have made the choice to better your health for you and your children. If you need any extra support or words of encouragement along the way, feel free to add me. I wish you the best. :o)
  • I feel your pain. I tried taking before pictures yesterday. And I couldn't do it. I instantly deleted the one I did take and then went and put the camera away. I know I need to do it, I want to. I'm in it this time for real and once I reach my goal it will be nice to look back and see my progress. Just have so many…
  • Weight Watcher's string cheese. My favorite. Only 50 calories. Also Like hard boiled egg, great for some extra protien and low cal. :o)
  •
  • I am normally under 1200 calories. But I feel like I am eating all day long. I look at it this way... I wasn't an overeater, I had horrible eating habits. I would drink 2-3 cups of coffee throughout the day and then eat crap for dinner. Nothing in between. So now I am eating Breakfast, Morning Snack, Lunch, Afternoon…
