  • In an earlier post she said "The more the merrier" and I'd like to have a guys perspective as well so please join us =)
  • I started this morning and just saw this by chance and want to join!! Hope it's ok. 1) Weight and measurements - (I did measure but they are at home and I can't remember them all) *Weight - 190.6 *Waist - can't remember (BIG) haha *Chest - can't remember (BIG) haha *HIps - can't remember (BIGGER) haha Thighs - 25 Neck - 14…
  • Yes.....yes I totally agree with this comment. Wow.
  • I generally log only the activities I do specifically to burn calories like working out at the gym. I do however, log my mowing once a week as exercise because #1 I spend over an hour mowing two yards with a push mower and I end up drenched in sweat and it really get my heart rate up #2 I just started this activity solely…
  • Hahaha! Thank you for making me giggle! I am like you, I don't drink smoothies either haha! I do want visible muscles....maybe defined muscles is a better way to put it for me and I do strength train though I prefer straight up cardio. I definitely agree the food pyramid or rather the revised minus all the carbs…
  • Fort Worth here and I agree, it's HOOOOOT!! No exercise outside for me, I am not sure i could do it! Come on fall!!!

  • This is really true! What we are told works best today, is not what we will be told works best tomorrow and so on. The current "fad" is interval training and it definitely brings about excellent proven results, but I have also seen straight cardio get good results too as I have seen circuit/cardio have good results among…
  • Need recipe please! Sounds fabulous and something very different. Wonderful suggestions thanks a bunch! Love me some grilled squash of any kind for sure and asparagus is one of my favs!
  • I work my legs every other day and arms the opposite days. I am circuit/strength training though, not necessarily lifting for bulk. I do know what you mean about seeing all these guys with massive upper bodies and toothpick legs. Too funny. I've also noticed the power lifter types have great legs and great upper bodies…
  • This list might get long!!! I want to be healthy, feel healthy and pass this lifestyle on to my children so they never have to feel the way I have for so many years. I am tired of my weight holding me back from doing things I love (running, swimming, cartwheels, etc.) I am tired of hearing that I have such a pretty face…
  • I literally laughed out loud when I read this! LOL But way true! Me too LOL
  • Everyone is right.....don't weigh every single day, it is sure to give you the blues because of constant weight fluctuations. I can tell you this.....but I need to practice it as well bc I weigh every day too =(( Unless you ate like 4,000 calories yesterday, you likely didn't gain 1.5 lbs of "real fat"....most likely it is…
  • All these posts break my heart........I can't believe people can be SO CRUEL! I had people call me names when i was in school but now days they just make fun of all the other "fat people" in front of me. I get sick of hearing it so the other day I said "you DO realize that they are MY size right?".......seems the comments…

  • You look fabulous! Thanks for posting these inspiring pics!
  • I don't like the idea of "cheat days" because for me, this is a lifestyle change and with that change comes a lot of modification from my current lifestyle. My personal goal, and it's different for everyone I am sure, is to begin eating more healthy foods and trying to change my "favorite foods" from what they were to more…
  • Good job on your 11 lbs in 11 weeks. Nice healthy pace will keep it off! Since starting MFP 25 weeks 56 lbs so that's about 2.2 lbs per week.
  • Awesome achievement! Keep on going! And I LOVE "let's kick this pig"!
  • Wow! Wow Wow! Amazing! You are truly amazing and such an inspiration! You were a very very beautiful lady before, but absolutely stunning after losing 103 lbs! The weight loss made you look a lot younger too! Thank you for posting these!!
  • My name is Angelia which means messenger or messenger of God; female Angel. I would like to think that this describes me perfectly, but well maybe not SO much, but I am trying to live up to my name  This is neat - thanks for the fun post!
  • I have been wondering this very same thing so I am glad you posted it. Sodium is a killer for me too bc I am a working Mom and precooked food for lunch is almost always on the menu a couple days a week at least. I do my best to avoid it but sometimes I just don't have a choice. Thanks again for asking this question.
  • I stay full all day long at 1200 calories and I weight 203 lbs so that's no easy task =) I eat very little fruit, but when i do eat fruit I pick Strawberries, blueberries and fruit that has a low sugar content as they have less calories, but I prefer to snack on vegetables, they are lower in calories and tend to keep me…
  • When you purchase the Polar FT7 or FT11 do you buy the chest strap separately? Silly question probably but when i go to amazon I am not seeing anything that comes WITH a chest strap???
  • Wow! Oh how I needed to read this today! I've been stuck at 47 lbs lost for a month now and I've tried increasing cals, decreasing cals, changing my workout, increasing cardio, increase strength, drinking more water....you name it. But what I failed to realize is what you said.....I am NOT doing this to impress my self…
  • I am going to have to politely disagree with you on this. Why would it give me "credit" for something I don't do like watching TV for example. But with that said then, why would you deduct those activities ifrom your work out f it is already taking them into account in your every day living? I think I am missing your…
  • If you don't normally log your everyday normal activities such as you have mentioned here in your example as "regular stuff" in the first place, then why would you deduct them from the work out you had at the gym. If you sit and watch TV you burn "X number" of calories and if you work out at the gym you burn "X number" of…
  • Oh boy do I know this......I so know this and yet I always set unrealistic goals for myself in everything I do. I have always been this way and thank you for pointing this out because sometimes I just need to hear that a few times to keep myself from feeling like a complete failure! Thanks everyone for listening to me…
  • I use a little EVOO, garlic salt, fresh lemon juice, and dill (both sides) and cook it on the grill. I usually eat mine with fresh grilled veggies or a salad. YUM! I really like the fish taco idea so I am going to try that tomorrow!!!
