  • I'm not a fan of fruit with my cottage cheese, however I'm big on savory! I love it with a chopped hard boiled egg and some hemp seed mixed in....then a touch of cayenne.
  • Whew! I'm glad it's not just me.
  • Give yourself a small piece of high grade 80% cocoa chocolate. It's strong tasting so you won't over indulge, plus it has health benefits!! Don't deny your craving or else you might obsess and go overboard. Remember, nothing is "off limits" it's about setting limits! Good luck :-)
  • Add me as well! I can't figure out how to post a question and it's driving me NUTSO! Soooo amazing you lost 100lbs...thatt is SO fantastic! Okay, how come I can run a 5k, next day hike hills 7 miles, Monday, Tuesday, AND Wed, work out.....and GAIN WEIGHT! Whatheck??? You and I need to swap notes, because clearly I'm not…
  • HECK YEAH! Absolutly count it
  • That's fantastic!! It's not about "diet" it's about a lifestyle change! I HATE the 'D' word!! Nothing should be off limits, but moderation needs to be set in our brains. You want pizza: have it for goodness sake!! Just sit back and savor the flavor of what you just put in your mouth...that bite...the flavor....the texture…

If you took a step class, did yoga, walked a mile, etc. but don't calculate daily mundane tasks such as "fidgeted,…
  • Crystal Light has no calorie drops you can put in your water to flavor it up, but I've gotten so used to plain ice cold water that they tend to be too sweet for me. I know it's boring, but you will adjust! Add lemon or orange slices perhaps? A "splash" of OJ might jazz it up!
  • So proud that you've taken this step! Ohhhh my heck, I know just what you mean about the carbs. I'm not much of a sweet eater myself but give me a loaf of warm bread and butter? OUCH! I've found a WONDERFUL sight that does numerous food makeovers and awesome EASY ideas! It's called "Hungry Girl" and I'm simply hooked…
  • Sometimes that's just the way it is! Hormones......."that time"......crappy weather.....it all contributes! Sometimes you're body is craving something that it's just not getting. There are days I eat like I'm on death row and I can't figure it out!! I've learned to curb this by eating LOTS of protein in the morning.
  • As long as you're aware of what you ate and you have remorse then you'll be just fine. We all have temporary setbacks and we can't beat ourselves up over it. Look it in the face and move on. Remember to try and wait 10 min. after your first serving to determine if you're still "hungry". Perhaps you're just bored (been…
