First of all i understand exactly your concerns. I also follow my calories as dictated by MFP, but reached a point last month where my weightloss was stationery even though i was more active. When i upped my calories my weightloss started to shift. my advice is to eat at least half of your earned exercise calories each…

And with friends like that who needs enemies? , i learned many years ago that some people bring mostly negativity to your life and therefore should be removed from your inner circle. However we all have to make our own choices as to how we travel our own path. Congrats on your success so far and hopefully you will find the…

At 49, I have to be honest and say my greatest accomplishment are definately my 5 children aged 7-30. They may not be mine biologically but i have raised them since toddlers, im proud to call myself their "mom" and the fact they were/are long term fosterkids just meant they grew in my heart instead of my belly xx:bigsmile:

would depend on the workout you incorporating it in. Which could then include your quads, gluts as well as the biceps and upper back muscles. you need to explain what kind of workout you are doing with the bar bell.

sweety just remember it was just one day.. you can get it back by being extra good for the remainder of the week. you are only human and sometimes you will stumble, whats more important is not the amount of times you stumble but the amount of times you pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get back on track. here's to a…

I think most of us except for the angels amongst us [smiles], have at some point passed judgement several times in our lives, so dont stress too much. I for one put off my own journey as i had well over 100lbs to lose and kept telling myself it would take forever and i would never do it, so i put it off and off. In june…

I think many are of the belief that if you do cardio before weights, that you limit the time in order that you don't drain your strength, especially if you are doing strength lifting.

i had to giggle at this post, i too have an addictive nature and yet those hours spent at the gym several times a week still do not make me eager to go lol. I love to see the benefits but i do long for the day when i will actively enjoy the experience and look forward to my workout days lol

I started adding weights to my exercise programme in January and have noticed a significant difference in my shape even in this short period. I do several lifts including dead lift, sumo lift, clean press, military lift and bench press. Technique i gained from watching recommended youtube clips and then took myself to gym.…
