I have PCOS and have to avoid breads/rice/pasta/potatoes. I definitely recommend you 'spice up your life' -- my favorite is 'Cajun Foreplay' by Dinosaur bbq, though Curry's work well as well. Anything not too high in sodium. I use an 'Italian blend' which makes me almost not miss pizza and pasta. In particular I use it on…

Watermelon I find to be very filling and tasty and low calorie! Apples too. Lemon water to stay hydrated - most of the time we think we're hungry we're actually thirsty. More veggies, fresh if possible, but I usually buy frozen when they go on sale because they are cheaper and I am on a budget. And beans, the magical fruit…

It helped cure my PCOS and I was able to have a baby. It works. Everyone's body metabolizes things differently, and most carbohydrates break down into glucose. (In a very basic explanation). It can also be important for someone with diabetes / insulin reasons. Or celiac disease. Fiber is metabolized differently, for…

I'm 5'3" and had my first baby 4 months ago. I weigh 178 lb. Before pregnant I was 157lb (I was on mfp before my wedding and went from 174 to 157, then got pregnant). I would like to be about 125lb, and would love to chat with someone to keep motivated. I'm going to be adding you all :-)

I'm not looking to lose at the moment (pregnant) but I love this challenge and want to sign up for the next term :-)

yea it sounds crazy BRILLANT! I'm not sure how immunizations work, or how much snow you get; how far away from the doctors office / hospital would you be? That would be my only concern. I am already worried that I am going to be overwhelmed by my family (and my husbands family) after our daughter is born. I'm probably…

Congrats on your weight loss! I will try to be a helpful reply-er :) While this hasn't happened to me, I think it has to do with losing weight quickly. One of my friends on mfp posted about something similar. She didn't do a quick fix, but she has seen a decrease in these areas by toning and fat-blasting cardio. This is…

I had a similar issue with a friend who ended up becoming very mentally and emotionally unstable. I think often times it is difficult for some people to accept others being happy, especially when they are not happy themselves. Different things that worked for her, like eating close to 2000 calories, did not work for me. I…

Hi! I'm due Jan 26th with a girl, and it's my first. I'm only supposed to gain about 15-20 per doctors instructions, and I'm 21 weeks and up about 7-8. I had lost a bunch last year, gained back some of it before getting pregnant (honeymoon eek!). Anyways, feel free to add me!

I think people are just starting to be able to tell with me and I'm 21w4d. I could tell around 15/16 (and so could my jeans!) but the baby girl is making her presence known when I wear dresses now :-) She seems to be carrying really low though. I'm hoping I don't get too big, my weight gain so far is around 7-8 pounds.

supposedly jessica alba wore two at once. other than that hersey, i don't know. but i'm planning on getting one :)

Congrats new mamas! I am 20w3d with my first and started off about 20-30 pounds overweight and have currently gained about 6-7 pounds. I'd love to be friends with other pregnant women! It's been a crazy ride so far!
