  • I am into the 2nd month of CLT, the Push Circuits and I find it good! The cardio parts of the workout list are killers, but I find that as hard as they are I am getting where I can do the whole thing with more UMPH! The weightlifting are only about 30 min. long so when I have time I try to fill in with TJ (don't have…
  • Just thought I would jump in here! Just this week a friend gave me a Spaghetti Squash and I made a marinara sauce with fresh tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, garlic, red peppers and veggie crumbles! Yummm! Also, I just received my Vegetarian Times magazine and they have a whole section in there on recipes for Spaghetti Squash!…
  • Make sure you take measurements as well as using the scale! I found myself not losing as fast as I would like in the scale department, but was losing some good numbers in inches. Remember, muscle weighs more that fat!!
  • Of course it's all personal preference, but I love Chalene Johnson. I have Turbo Jam, which helped me lose 30lbs. Then I lost my mind and quit doing much of anything, idiot me, but now have come back to TJ and Chalean Extreme. It's a butt kicker, but it's a fat killer. I also like BeachBody for using the workout tracker,…
  • Love it! I understand perfectly! It's the struggle I have been going thru the last couple months. I lost 30lbs about 5yrs. ago and then I just burned out! I worked tooooo hard and made it all of my life instead of part of my life. So, this last two months I have tried to steady it out, get my workouts in, good food within…
  • I just the last 60 days got back on the track myself! I got some new weight workouts, working in some of my aerobic DVDs and making a plan for each day. My issue was being over the top........workout, workout, eat less, eat less......and I burned out and like you jumped on the weight gain wagon. So, this time I am limiting…
  • Ok, good week! I re-learned about doing too much and not eating enough! Sounds crazy, right, I wouldn't be overweight if I didn't overeat, hmm. Well, I KNOW that if I am working out and don't eat enough it's the same as overeating. My body goes into starvation mode and hangs on to every pound! On Tuesday I had a melt down…
  • I just started a new challenge for my self and have been looking for a group to be accountable to!! Only a day in so this will be great! I'M IN!
  • I do! I have some DVD's that have some weight lifting qualities, but I don't count reps so I consider them cardio. I use my HRM with my DVD's and then add them as "new". That way I enter my duration and calories.
  • My favorite is Turbo Jam. I know most people say it's all cardio but there are strength videos in the series also. I have seen some use the Turbo Fire. I have looked into getting that for variety, but it's mostly cardio and my TJ does that AND it's fun. The initial video is 5 workouts including a 20 minute workout showing…
  • I'd like to add my two cents also. I have just gotten back into my exercise program the last month and have really not lost any weight, but I have lost 8 inches. IF you are moving more, sometimes it's not the scale that matters, but the inches. Muscle weighs more than fat. Also, I agree with everyone, you need to be…
  • Well, ladies I am a TJ junkie too! I used them several years ago and lost 30lbs. but got waylaid with..........stuff! Anyway I have been back on the TJ and yoga road for about a month now and missing a good challenge. I have some of the workout schedules that I used on some challenges at Beach Body. I have a Fit Bit and a…
