I need some more active friends. I feel bad though, over the past 2 days I've eaten terrible due to the holidays in Australia, usually I'm really good!!

At the end of high school I was "underweight" on the BMI scale. By the end of university I was in the 'obese' range. We know not to trust the BMI scale but I went from underweight to overweight so I definitely understand how hard it is to stay motivated in university to stay healthy. The parties don't help, but my downfall…

I started at about 210 pounds (95 kilos) and I started getting comments when I got to 175 (80 kgs), which is also when I started noticing myself. As I'm above average height for a female it means I have to lose a lot more for it to become noticeable but hey, on the plus side if I gain a couple of kilos it's not noticeable…

I'm back on the horse again tomorrow but I've decided to not weigh myself for as long as possible to not get discouraged about what I gained over Christmas.
-
I'm adding everyone, and all those who post after me feel free to add me. I'm in the process of deleting a bunch of inactive people to replace with active people for motivation :)

I got back on the horse and as of today I'm back to healthy eating/exercise. Not the strongest NSV and unfortunately I've gained weight, but I'm back on track to report better NSVs in the near future :)

This one is a huge one for me so here's a little backstory: A couple of years ago I used to have a lot of trouble with my photo ID and getting into nightclubs. Unfortunately I had gained so much weight from when my photo ID was taken (where I was underweight) that bouncers used to think it was a stolen ID. Once it got…

Thanks heaps for the advice/responses everyone, I'm glad people all had insightful things to say! I went out today with my boyfriend, sister and brother in law and we had just a couple of wines and a nice meal (it's a public holiday in my city) although I had two wines, it was nice to hold back and not binge drink. Also I…

I love checking this thread every couple of months and seeing new posts. Good job everyone, it's because of you I'm 5 kilos down, many more to go but I've finally made the first push on my journey :)
-
I'll add you now :) Anyone is free to add me too! I've lost 2.2 kilos out of 30

Haha, yep! I hope they don't mind me using a fan pic as a benchmark for my weight loss story :p You too! We can do this! Good on you! That's amazing. That's some of my biggest inspiration right there! Thanks! :) Yeah I've become my biggest enemy. To this day I still roll my eyes whenever an overweight girl will arrogantly…

Tomorrow I'm getting up at six to go to the gym, after I eat a bowl of muesli ;) Glad someone else understands the uni struggle hehe Haha thanks! You're the best x

It matters to an extent - at the end of last year I was cutting back calories but because I was still eating pretty badly my cholesterol was still going up (confirmed by blood test) even though I was losing weight. But IMO a few skinny cow treats after a lean meal should be fine :) I was eating pretty badly, so I wouldn't…

I love you motivated freshmen. I've done uni over 5 years, in my first year I weighed 63 kilos (138 pounds) I was almost underweight because I'm quite tall... now in my fifth year, I currently weigh about 91 kilos (about 200 pounds) so I understand how easy it is to gain heaps of weight during uni/college.…

I'm awful, I always start Stronglifts, do it for a week or two and then abandon. On the brightside, I'm definitely getting the form down properly as I've been able to practise it for a while B) We'll call it workout one for all intents and purposes, but I was up to workout B: Squats 5 x 5: 20kg (about 44 pounds) which is…

Woohoo! You look totally cute and comfortable in your second picture and it's given me motivation

I have a cheat "meal" not a cheat "day"(Still call it my cheat day to make it easier to clarify haha) and usually it's okay as I have calories left over from the rest of the week to still stay under my goals. I think it's important to indulge once in a while, it stops you from binging on other days. You just remind…

Last night was a weird one, I would consider it LNS but I was under my calorie goal and I was actually really hungry anyway, and ate something not *that* bad for you. For all intents and purposes though let's count it as one for LNS, and not do it again for the rest of the month (+1 day, considering I'm missing 1st March…

Adding those above me (Well, when I get home from work, haha) For those below - feel free to add me, I'm active daily x

I used to do pump 2x a week, it's awesome! I've moved onto using the weights room at the gym but I still aim to do pump every now and again for cardio
-
I got a teatox thingy in a beauty box this month. Apparently it's pretty much tea laced with laxatives. I felt ill at the gym today and had to stop a couple of minutes shy of my hour long workout, I suspect it's the teatox but I'm giving it one more day to see. It's a 6 day sample, I wouldn't use/buy it otherwise

Woohoo! Way to go. Your story is awesome, we're similar ages, and your "before" photo is similar to me now (which is a before phase) so how about I make our "after" the same too? ;)
